I've been caught out really with not enough transfers in the bank. So today's team isn't great and I'll be playing catch up tomorrow too.

Cav, G, Goss, Bos. Demare, Navardauskas, Phinney, Impey, Balloni.

Last July, if I was ever going to buy a car, it would have been a Skoda.
But I'll be jiggered if I'm holidaying in Azerbaijan.

What about Lower Silesia:

"Not to be told, to be seen, so see you". I mean seriously what does that even mean?

Farrar & Hushovd out the back and won't get back on.

What does Gruppo Compatto mean? Just come up on Eurosport text commentary.
The relatively small group off the back of the peloton, trying to get back on.
Farrar et al, not Phinney's 'proper' Gruppo further down the road.

1,2,4 and 9, not too shabby. Gonna be bad tomorrow though, I have no idea who to put in for this it will be a break I think if there are no serious GC contenders in it.

I would be very surprised if I got any points today.
But sadly it doesn't follow I'll do any better tomorrow.

I'd pencilled Thor in for tomorrow, so I'm right back to the drawing board.

1,2 & 9 for me. Shame I had to move Hunter out yesterday for Navasdauskas as could only have two Garmin riders. Rasmussen has a lot to answer for for yesterday punish:

I too am totally flummoxed for tomorrow. Don't have much room to play with neither. Oh well, onwards and upwards.

2 and 9, plus odds and sods for jerseys etc.

Think I'll have fallen off the top of the league, I hope my Giro isn't mirroring Brighton's season!

Out with the sprinters but in with who?

Blimey !, just realised that Garmin have 6 riders in the GC top ten and occupy the first 4 places ! Ok, that's coming close off the back of the TTT and we haven't hit the mountains yet, but impressive nonetheless.

The only place to gain any real time has been the ITT and TTT. Is it any wonder such a TT focused team is near the top? I can't see it being the same after the weekend.

The Garmin fun is over for now, time to close ranks round Ryder and CVV.

If I hadn't made any changes to my team, I still wouldn't have scored any points.
It's like my lottery numbers.

Right, just back from working on all sorts of permutations and transfers for tomorrow now done. Had to use both transfers up again, having to shift out two who I think will be way out the back tomorrow, so still riding by the seat of pants. Real lottery stage - will it or won't it end up in some sort of bunch sprint I wonder?
