Worthing
......over the last two home matches he has missed a hatful of chances ranging from 'golden chances' to 'sitters'. Not going to write him off yet, but his conversion rate has me worried and whoever is up top can't afford to be missing chances like Davies did at the end of the game today - we simply can't afford the points.

It wasn't so long ago that people were on Murray's back for just that sort of thing. 'one-in-ten-Glenn' they were calling him. But now he's seen as the saviour and the next new striker is the object of ridicule. When will people learn that new players take their time to find their feet. At least he's getting in to positions to miss these chances (which was also the case for Murray). He'll come good given time and encouragement and I expect us to be well clear of the bottom 4 at the end of the season.

Proven to be a total **** again? There's a shock.

It's a shame we can't have more Rooney and Ronaldo's then you might start being a bit more positive.

This thread has become 4 pages long - because you all rise to WW. I cannot believe you all give this berk the time of day - he loves it because he's being 'alternative'.

Put him on your ignore list - because that's what he deserves.

Football just exists on two incontravertibal truths.

Strikers miss easy chances, and so do not score gols
and
Keepers miss chances, and so concede goals.

Other than that is is all shit

I think Craig was trying to get included in the 'Net Busters' section on an upcoming edition of '100 Great Albion Goals' DVD. Now, if they put in a montage of 'Pinpoint Accurate Shots Into The Bottom Left Hand Corner' we'll be ok.

Unlucky Craig - chin up mate - looking forward to the flood of goals from you that's bound to start flowing soon.

We. Are. Staying. Up.

Why don't you try entiling the thread "That was a bad miss" and then go on to discuss the game rather than such negative drivel?

You really are a nob of the highest garter.

i think your very critical off craig davies due to the fact he still has a virus. mr withdean wanderer and this is the second time he has played with the team only rejoining them on monday for retraining. also joining the squad scoring a goal on his debut when the team was struggling before davies and mcnulty joined. give him a break

Not convinced? How about the white Nike trainners you were wearing?
WW wears white trainers as he thinks they make him look a bit like Danny Dyer.

Where did I say that?

Admittedly, I can only remember one save from him, which looked fairly routine to me....but I don't see what you're getting at? I like Kuipers, I just wish he'd cut the silly errors/people weren't so starry eyed about him. Last season he was fantastic, if he can hit that form again we're laughinng.

I'm getting at the fact he hasn't justified being in goal but he has.

Anyway, this thread was in frustration of Davies squandering a GOLDEN chance in the last minute which would have given us the points. Maybe a little harsh/provocative, but I don't think you can deny it was fairly shocking finishing. I don't plan on picking on him - I look forward to seeing him up front with Murray to be honest, he certainly has the pace and power needed. But I hope his finishing is a LOT better than that.

We were all frustrasted he didn't score, Davies included, but you can't come on here and criticse a player calling him a donkey over one bad miss, it's completely ridiculous and a big reason why players' lose their confidence, all because you were 'annoyed'.

Players are STUPID if they read NSC, in the same way it would be stupid for them to sit in the South Stand when they aren't playing.

Frankly though, i'd be amazed if Davies can even read.
