As an after story of the GREAT storm, I seem to remember a tale of two rare moths that had escaped from some moth farm, due to structural damage. They were eventually found snoozing in an orchard, pickled, after consuming some fermented apples.

I went in there after a few too many and got kicked out.

Samsons was great. Haven't seen anyone mention a place that I think was called 'Sparks' and was near St Peter's Church. That would have been where I got my first ever cheeseburger and fries. We're talking the 70s, when fast food was pretty cutting edge I think

I mentioned that earlier. Not quite sure why it ever closed. Always seemed to be booked up and was infinitely popular. Health and Safety, perhaps?

I just remembered when I was a kid, Brighton cabs used to be black with cream bonnets and boots and in my memory they were all Morris Oxfords.
