I am going to swerve this game now. The league is the priority and Poyet won't give a Rats arse about the Carling Cup or Liverpool at home and will most likely put out a near reserve side now. In view of the fact

1. We will not have many first teamers playing
2. Its on tele anyway
3. Its the best part of £ 40 quid for the ticket and getting there and back
4. I am going to the Leeds game 2 days later

I think we still sell out as the non sth's will take the tickets but I think many sth's will not bother going.

If people's main concern is for the palace game, remember, they will be playing midweek, saturday and then tuesday, so we will have an extra day to recover before we play them. My only concern is the leeds game (have plenty of time between games for the liverpool one, and between leeds and palace).

as others have said, we have alot of players to give a game, so covering the two games shouldnt be a problem. i can see those sent out against Liverpool would be rested for the Leeds game with a view on the Palarse game.
