Yes they have, both legally and morally. To use the club's badge you need their permission, that's the law. To use the club's badge to support something that is clearly not representative of the club or it's fans is morally wrong.

hang on so is it simply legally wrong or morally wrong. the two are not always a perfect fit. this needs clearing up.

With an interval presumably between 1290 and 1656.

The first one was apparently set up around about 1706 or so according to the united synagogue. But none of the boneheadds have explained why Sharia 'courts', which as has already been established is a right wing distortion of the truth about the system, are so wrong but the Beth Din has been acceptable for over 300 years.

Or perhaps they are rather too thick to have actually done any kind of research or thinking beyond the 'its pakis, I oppose it' stage.

They can stand up and demonstrate all they want, looking at them, its the best option as it will no doubt cut down the crime these moronic looking thugs are capable of commiting..... Would anybody like to put a bet on with me, not that its provable, that every one of the people pictured, have committed criminal acts, against English law and English people, and have criminal records...the question is, why do they NEED a Brighton and Hove Albion badge on their political flag? What is their point? Would you be happy if the flag contained 'Paedophiles for BHA' on the flag?

I wonder if people on here would be as upset if they saw a woman doing porn Wearing a brighton shirt? Would you all be saying the club should be doing something to disassociate themselves from this. filth?

I for one quite like porn... fascism not so much Wookiee.

Assumptions? Yes. Assumptions that would be correct? Yes.
Im fairly sure they are terrified of Sharia Law as it would leave them a bit light in the hand department.

Dont avoid the main question. WHY do they have the need to place our clubs badge on that rag, other than to suggest Brighton supporters are in agreement with their sad little pressure group?

Talk about desperate to drum up support for this tedious little group.

Can I just clarify that I have no opinion on the EDL, nor do I wish to make comment about the particular members of the EDL in that picture, I am just simply shocked and dismayed that the BHA crest has been used on an EDL March. That is what I am against.

So, you would be happy for a paedophile pressure group to place a Brighton&Hove Albion badge on their letterheads/flags etc?
Providing they are fans of course.

and whether these morons are fans of the club or not...again..WHY do they need to put the Brighton & Hove Albion badge on their political flag...

and have to say 'Brighton Division' is a little bit theatrical for 5 or 6 morons isnt it?
I dont have to phone anybody. Earlier in the thread it was made known that the PR dept of the club is looking into the matter.

Someone earlier in this thread (sorry, can't be arsed to find it again) said they were in some way related to one of the 'characters' in the photograph, and that he (or one of the others) had never been to a match in his tawdry little life. The 'tawdry little' bit is my addition, by the way.

Dave thats a belter. That is a properly deranged comparison I am killing myself just for the image it conjours up.

I can see an busy messy office full of Sydney Cooke lookalikes rattling of pamphlets and flyers and making banners and asking who has got the Albion stamp.

Just want to know what people are prepared to accept BHA being associated with.

Still waiting to find out WHY they have put our teams badge on their rag of a flag.
What is the purpose, other than to imply their group is larger than it actually is ?

yes and what better place to start than a fictional paedophile pressure group.

Lets all play deranged comparable scenarios. My go.

2. What would people think if instead of Arbeit Macht Frei they had put the Albion crest over the gates of Auschwitz.

Good Morning one and all.I just had to respond to this thread(my first)as cannot believe peoples general intolerence.

Irony bypass, err..............the EDL are a single policy organisation and that policy is one of............intolerance.

From reading through i get the impression that the majority(not all)believe that because these citizens have differing beliefs to yours they are somehow inferior and are being branded as thugs, neanderthals etc,etc

I have no idea if they are thugs, and you are right that one should not base too much on appearances. All I can say is that my personal experience of dealing with skinheads is they have a habit of chaniting racist and neo-Nazi slogans.

Provided they act within the law they have the right to protest, and that right is enshrined in law.

Basically i believe like spanish, its making a mountain out of a molehill,as Macky says at least they have the front to back what they believe,so hats off in my book.

All that they believe is that they don't like Muslims, as far as I am aware none of them have ever discussed their concerns with an Iman, or made any attempt to understand the religion.

The original issue was that some people on NSC are uncomfortable with the club badge being assoiciated with a far-right organisation (or, as per today's sizzling Daily Star, Britain's NEWEST political party, which the Star is noticeable to given some credibility to and knock Jordan off the front page.)

First of all, they are using the club's badge as part of their campaign, as I said, the need permission which I very much doubt they got. Secondly, it's morally wrong to use the club's badge as clearly the implcation is that the club is happy to be aligned to the EDL which I would bet a lot of cash they are anything but. Mind you as long as you wouldn't mind putting your name on a flag advocating support for PIE you probably wouldn't consider the action immoral.

Not only that, it might start with Muslims but in the end they would be anti any people with a tan or a long nose.
