For your information, the MK commentators reckoned El-Abd was very unlucky to get a red.

Brighton commentators seem to think it was entirely justified. Weird.

Perhaps we should start games with ten men, then when we get one sent off, we bring on our 11th man, then our side will feel no difference, and our opponents will wonder why there's no change and get dismayed about how hard it is...

I think its more to do with referees tightening up on fouls which previously were a yellow and are now given as an instant red.

No it's not. It's the same for every other team. El-Abd and Virgo, in particular, have always been cut and thrust players who don't seem to have a bran cell between them.
If the refs are tightening things up then players have to adapt to this. 99% of players have, so why can't we?!

7pm because they think it will encourage youngsters to go along , all JPT games will k.o. at 7pm.
