there's nothing British about being British any more.
I for one am not proud to see scenes like we did at the England v Pakistan Twenty20 today where English people were outnumbered in our own country.
It's f***ing disgusting. We need to shut the floodgates now. BNP are the only party that have the bollocks to do it.

Would Muslims be so tolerant if we went and built churches in their countries, set up thousands of English shops and had days off work for Christmas and Easter?
I don't necessarily agree with all of the BNP's policies, (the supposed anti-semitic ones), but if we don't do something now, we will be overpowered by the influx of immigrants and will become the minority in our own country.

If we give the Romans a bye, then the Angles, Saxons, and Jutes were the original goddamn foreigners. Then the Vikings up north. Then the Normans down south. Then the Dutchmen in the Fens. And the Huguenots -- in proportional terms, the largest immigrant group ever -- 50,000 arriving in a decade or so, in a population of <5 million. Famine Irish. Italian musicians. German waiters. Refugee Poles.

no, but we are more tolerant, which makes this a better country. so what if people want to take a certain day off to go worship their god, its no different to me or you taking off the june 17th to wait for the fixtures (or any other arbitary reason for a day off). it should noted that there are churches in just about every muslim country.

Whether you agree with a BNP voter or not is a moot point. This is a democracy and they are entitled to vote as they see fit. It's pointless abusing them as I can guarantee they don't give a damn anyway.

The view on here has often been "well I live in a nice middle class area (usually somewhere in Sussex as this is a Brighton forum) and the BNP make no impact here at all therefore they are irrelevant." I think we can put that argument to bed, the BNP are at least as relevant nationally as the Greens, the only difference being that their support is more localised in working class areas.
The next mistake will be to say "well people only voted BNP (or UKIP) as a protest." I think that will be a dangerous assumption. The nationalist parties offer a break from the pro-EU, perceived anti-British consensus of the three main parties. Could they push on from here in a General Election? And certainly could the BNP become the party that represents 'labour'?
