I went on holiday with Gary Hart.
Well, we were staying at the same apartment complex. Which is almost the same.

Same here, except we weren't staying in the same complex. Also we didn't see him. But we did meet up with Kerry Mayo in Canarians bar. I told him that Brighton council had just voted for Falmer as the stadium site as he hadn't already heard.

As you also mentioned Budgie, Easy, I can also mutter the immortal words "guess who I had in the back of my cab?".

I will long remember the moment in the hotel disco/bar in Lanzarote as I stood waiting to be served, only to glance to my left at the chap standing next to me and do a double-take. There he was, OGH, bold as brass and twice as shiney (might have been the sunburn). Needless to say I immediately whipped out my left testicle (which has a seagull tattoo on it) to prove my allegience. Gary gave me a wink and a thumbsup as I was escorted from the premises. Ever since then I feel we have had this bond.

John Byrne is a legend, and is still in my opinion the greatest player to have worn the stripes. Chewing the fat with him over a few jars in the Sussex last October will always remain one of the most physically arousing moments of my life.

Oh if its that tenuious, Perry Digweed told me and some mates to f*** off home during a reserve game in about 1984, as we piss took from the South Stand. Mark Mcghee lives somwhere near me, as I have seen him at the paper shop in Matlock Road 3 times recently and as I have mentioned before my brother in laws neice is alledgedly shagging that lump Elder.

Played football on the astro-turf opposite the Goldstone regularly with Steve Foster, Dean Wilkins and garry O'Reilly.

Met Alan Mullery at primary school

Speak to Andy Rollings almost daily.

I was Kerry Mayo's dad's foreman just as KM was breaking into the 1st team.

Had a piss standing next to Gary Howlett & Gerry Ryan at a reserves Senior cup tie v Midhurst & Easebourne back in the mid 80s - I definately had to stand further away from the urinals than them!

I have no connection whatsoever to anyone who has played for the Albion. Closest link I think I can get is I did once work on the same project as Matt Hicks when we both worked for Amex.

Oh I was behind the Liverpool dugout when we beat them at home in the FA Cup.

When Souness was subbed I shouted a volley of abuse at him and he glared at me, I was lucky as I think he may have killed me otherwise.

And I ran on the pitch after we won and was on ITV.

By brother once snuck in to the Goldstone when the North stand (?) was being rebuilt, and pinched the blueprint plans. Work was then delayed.

I owned these plans as a youngster for quite a few years - until I left for uni and my ma dumped the lot including hundreds of programmes etc. hey ho.

My son, then aged 6, who was mascot that day is pictured in the Easter monday celebrations by MA and the team in 2001 after the game against Darlington.

Was a ballboy at the Goldstone during the 1980s and played 5-a-side football for the Junior Seagulls.

Sat next to Mickey Adams at Underhill during a rearranged Barnet v Albion afternoon midweek reserve team game. Genuinely nice friendly guy as well as an excellent lower-league manager.

Was the last of the 7 to make it over the wall via the roof of the old Supporters Club shop during the 2nd half of the last game at the Goldstone.
