What else are they meant to say when they are referring to the polls? They report the results of the poll – do you expect them to ignore them or suggest that the opposite was happen, based on nothing at all?

If this situation tells us anything about trust, it's that POLLS can't be trusted, not the 'mainstream media', which, let's not forget, includes FOX (or, in the case of the UK, The Express, Mail, etc, etc).

Do you mean Poles?

You would hope that the person with the most votes wins. But, of course, this won't happen.

The senate will decide. As it stands, it's close but probably going to be Republican.

Biden is the favourite now.

Looks likely he will take Wisconsin, Arizona, Nevada and Maine. If he also picks up Michigan (with Detroit still to declare most of their voting that is also looking likely) he is practically there.

The vast majority of votes left now in a number of key races are postal/absentee, which are proving to be very heavily blue.

Do they still count if they have obscene jokes and rude drawings on them?

The future of Liberal Democracy and possibly Nato hangs by a few thousand votes in a few States, I'd be lying if I didn't feel on edge

Actually it doesn't. Read about it earlier. In theory Congress decides the President and the Senate the VP.

Dems would choose Pres, Senate (GOP) the VP

Trump's Michigan lead almost gone now following a dump of Detroit votes, with plenty more still to come.

Wayne County (Detroit) just reported roughly 150k ballots, of which nearly 140k were for Biden.

That ship sailed long ago. It's only a question of how f*cked the environment is gonna get. And if Trump gets another 4 years you can guarantee it's no lube right up the bum.

So funny reading these anti Trump posts. Reminds me of the Brexit toxic posts on this forum.

Anyone voting Trump is a racist blah blah blah.

If you bothered to LOOK at the policies he's introduced then you would see he's starting to put the US back on the rails.

But no, just go on believing the Anti Trump media there and here and ignore the MILLIONS of people who can see what he's doing to try to improve the country and voting for him.

Or just call them stupid, which is the excuse of several posters.

Bit like Brexit, Remainers are intelligent and Leavers are stupid.

Indeed. WhileTrump does seem less keen on bombing other countries (I suspect not for noble reasons, but still) he does seem exceptionally keen on destroying our environment as quickly as he can in order to keep his rich mates happy. On top of withdrawing from the Paris climate agreememt (actually happened today) here's a sense of what else he's been up to: https://www.thecut.com/2020/10/united-states-largest-national-forest-is-in-danger.html
