McPhee has been brilliant for Ebbsfleet this year - its a bloody shame we never held onto him. He was a bit rough around the edges when we had him but his ability was never in doubt. I'd love to see him pull on the stripes again. Its a shame for him that he was at the club when Zamora was - if...

Amazing is a bit strong - solid is a more accurate description. Lynch is a far better 'footballer' and the more he plays the stronger he looks (although injuries obviously don't help). I'm not being deliberately obtuse - I was a big fan of Virgo, I just think money and resources could be better...

On the point of old players coming back in - there seems to be an on-going rumor about McPhee. Can anyone shed any light on this? I've asked on the Argus site but had no joy. I think its possible as DW was a big fan in the days of the youth team and pushed him forward for his debut at 16 years...
