Does anyone know what 'the zone' is? as we are now at Falmer and not Withdean... it always used to seem very bias towards West Sussex.
Not much point if travelling from Eastbourne you'd have to buy a ticket to Lewes anyway as the price difference is probably about 25p or similar, So hopefully...
Have not read all the thread entries here but just a few observations re crowd noise /songs , Amex is louder than Stamford Bridge prawn sandwich tourists x 41000.....I am sick of stand up if you hate Palace , it is a waste of good singing voice.......the heartbeat Will Buckley song does not work...
totally agree with Drew here , most of us can remember past players who invited differing opinions ,or where they fitted in various pecking orders etc. We just get a bit frustrated with certain players , it is nothing personal ... Razak raised the bar by about a mile yesterday which just...
went to a game in about 1970/71 with my uncle V shrewsbury, think it was a draw 1-1 , sat in those old bench seats at the back of old south stand at Goldstone eating 'everton mints' Iwas about 9 years old.........followed this up with games V Rotherham and Bolton , can't really remember much...
Gus seems very sure that his system is the correct one and maybe he is right , as keeping the ball safe , not letting the opposition get hold of it , probing for openings and scoring goals is a nice experience for all of us to watch........trouble is the current squad are not too good at it bar...
marks out of ten for RH , starting with a positive.... dead ball kicking 7 , workrate 5 , aggression 4, passing 6, heading 3, affect on the game 3............. oh dear it's not looking good.
there is no way we are currently play-off material and we can consider ourselves lucky to be mid-table. 4 decent players short I feel..... GK absolute priority.
well , my son keeps telling me to stop singing Albion songs in public when I see anyone wearing the shirt..... as it is embarrassing......... maybe shopping in Tesco is a bit much but I can't help it.
i saw this bloke live at Athletico Madrid V Chelsea in Champ league , his movement ,work rate and technique all incredible .....Chelsea tried to get him for yonks..they'll be gutted......but we have our own cut price version in CMS so we are ok..............

We have had some cracking players who could have also made the bench , Tony Towner , Jimmy Case , Robbo , Gerry Ryan , Grummit , the Former dutch marine......
does seem like a lot of upheaval with youth / development side of the club...but do not jump to conclusions...the politics and hidden stories within football clubs rivals those scounderals in parlaimant... it'll all come out in the wash.
What about some suggestions for crowd participation from the Donny game onwards , along the lines of an adaption of 'the wave' making it a unique version at the Amex , or some sort of bouncing like in spain etc , creates really good atmosphere... any ideas ?
it is quite simple , but rather depressing , there are about 0.2 % of the population who have the real money and power ,they want to keep it , so the rest of us go around the taxation treadmill in order to maintain the system.
TAX is inevitable, whatever way you dress it up we probably end up...
going back in to the world of footy for a moment.....what about the 'and Leicester' bit in the Chelsea ballad 'we all follow the Chelsea over land and sea - and Leicester'
I was there the day when some a booze laiden crowd comedian shouted the immortal words in the pause between the repeat...
I agree with Gritt23 , you can not have a player moving from Albion to Palace without a major emotional outbursting and associated re-visit to the old enemy stories. I also agree that GM will turn out to be no great loss as Gus would have been looking to up the class levels - league 1 was one...
