What's all these 6nb, three times I have seen that on cricinfo - is a nb two runs and they hit a four off it or is it something else, can't keep up with the different rules in different forms of cricket

FFS the idea of buying Monty was to get him back in the test set up - how many overs have the others let him bowl :nono: For the first time in his life he has more runs than wickets, come on boys stop hogging the limelight

Glad to see the bowlers are being given the chance to get us into the batting bonus points without the pressure of the last few wickets.

Want to vote Labour but... (Bexhill and Battle)

Don't know what the numbers are now but I remember in 1983 Charles Wardle had the highest percentage majority in the whole of the country here. I can remember he came to Bexhill College the Friday before the cup final and a group of us had our Brighton shirts on and he thought we were all in...

Gloucestershire v Sussex, Bristol, 21-24 April, LVCC

Last 10 overs their run rate has increased considerably to 3.30 an over, we need to slow them down quickly else we won't escape with a draw

Why is such a big thing being made of the coach trips

I remember the Liverpool team getting a train to Brighton for a first division match, they arrived in Brighton quite late on the Friday evening for the match on Saturday. They would probably have crossed London on the tube well. Modern footballers are so pampered they live in a different world...

O/T Thomson Airlines have ruined my summer holiday

Have you contacted her to explain the situation and ask that if she does re-let it would she consider returning your deposit. After the last weeks problems anybody who books a holiday without buying a decent independent insurance package is taking a big risk, but I thought that when Xcel went bust.

O/T Thomson Airlines have ruined my summer holiday

As I said its a risk you take if you dont buy a package holiday. The travel tickets are not worthless though as you will get your money back. Its a case of ensuring you buy good travel insurance.

O/T Thomson Airlines have ruined my summer holiday

Sorry but why should the airline be responsible when you have only booked a flight with them. Its the risk you take when you use charter airlines for flights only. If you were going to a football match and the train was cancelled meaning you can't get to the match, you wouldnt get the cost of...

    Ryanair - top ranting

Thing is though it may not actually be the cheapest option if you are going on holiday. We flew to Jersey last year for a long weekend (choice was Easyjet not Ryan Air but there is no real difference) and it worked out about £10 more expensive for 4 of use to fly with BA than Easyjet once you...
