Yes indeed. The higher up the leagues you go its nothing but all season tix.
Im sure that in the coming months the club will have a dilemma - sell those 900 (or whatever) as STs or keep on general sale. As a BUSINESS I know which I would do.
Alot of the time its early rounds of cup matches...
The only way to guarantee seats is to buy a season tix im afraid. Thats the way its always been. I know that there is a cost implication but to absolutely 100% guarantee entry its the only way.
Noddy clubs like Carlisle can DO ONE.
For years we have had to play shit like them with their CRAP away suport.
Thank god we are on the up.
Bring on the Sheff Utds, Hudds etc teams with a PROPER away support.
Its a business therefore its worthwhile.
However lets be completely honest. Some of the noddy teams we have played in the last few years have a noddy away following FULL STOP. Even if we were at the Amex (and all the facilities you can dream of) you would still only see probably a hundred more...
Apparantly there are some very heavy punitive measures for the contractors if the stadium isnt finished by the 31/5 so just relax. The insurers of the performance bonds are watching progress DAILY.
