I think the timing is what would annoy people the most I.e. not waiting till summer and leaving it to the end of the transfer window. Anyways I don't fully believe it until it's on the official site which should surely be pretty soon if true

Definitely want to keep hold of him. Elphick and Dunk are great centre backs to be able to call upon if Greer/El-abd get injured or sent off.

That was my thinking. This is a bit of a non-story for me in that it is just the club planning to build it and that news has been going round for some time now, maybe even over a year?. It's great they have officially confirmed it's on the horizon, but a long way to go if they are still yet...
