    Sol Campbell quits Notts County?

Correct me if my chronology is wrong but I thought his Dad died in September 2003, and that was why he missed Man U/Arsenal in Sep '03 and Keown played and did his mad gargoyle jump at RVN. He was then pretty damn solid for Arsenal the year they won it. He also wasn't too bad for his three year...

    Let's all laugh at Chelski

I still think Chelsea will win the league this season, but after that, if this ban is held, it will become far harder because alot of their squad is heading towards the age they would need to get replacements, e.g: Ballack, Deco.

    Newcastle and their Famous fans

Indeed it is. So they have fared better than their rivals Sunderland, who saw their 50k capacity ground drop to around 30k during their recent spells out of the Prem. That said I don't think anyone should be knocking clubs that are attracting 30k+ crowds outside the Prem, it is better than some...

    Newcastle and their Famous fans

Exactly! And my point also was, Reading probably brought a smaller away contingent than most other teams would. I personally think 36k is a very good gate, considering the shambles of a summer they've had.

    Newcastle and their Famous fans

I don't see the thread starters point, they still had 36k there! Plus I'm sure part of it came from the fact Reading probably didn't take many fans..

How Many More Brave Squadies Have To Suffer This Crap Til We Admit Defeat?

To be fair, the Russians didn't lose. It was much like us, it reached a bloody stalemate and they decided it simply wasn't worth putting the troops in anymore. Plus it was a war of the old generation who had mostly died off by the mid to late '80s when Gorby was on his charm offensive to the West.

    David Cameron in TWAT shock

Nah, I think it's too dull for anyone to bite. I don't like Cameron at all but a little dig at Absolute Radio is the best I can be bothered with.
