New signings? - Magoo after 2 defenders and a forward

A week to go and McGhee is worried. No more than I have been for past 18 months. He says he will bring in a couple of new players for next week. Are they the same ones we waited all last season for in vain. As they say, "You couldn't make it up." ps. Am really pissed off starting new...

    Isn't it time

our 3 local labour MP's started to put pressure in the right places to get this ******* stadium situation resolved once and for all. I hope they have arranged an urgent meeting with Ruth Kelly to warn her that the 3 seats will be looking very vulnerable at the next election and the next local...

[Albion] McGhee 99% likely to leave by end of week!

I think the investor being talked about is a current one, not a new one. Can only surmise, therefore, that it is Fatboy.

    Brighton - "The Musical"

If you are going to the show the CD's will be on sale there. I bought the 2 last time I went. Great evening out. My favourites include "Rock Gardens Joan", "Madness at the Seven Dials", "Seagulls on our Shirts" and "Goldstone Ground R.I.P." Shame I can't go to this Saturdays show. Got to go to...

Are you buying so much in the club shop?

Ever since the shop opened in Queens Road I have popped in every time I passed. Have bought shirts, calendars, t-shirts, or just the odd pen or pencil. Since Christmas haven't bought a thing or even gone in. In fact, today, I walked down Queens Road on the other side and just gave the shop a...

    Who got the best deal?

Who got the best deal out of their negotiations with Bury, was it Brighton or Preston? David Nugent-20 year old under 21 international, good striking record. Bury to Preston £100k. CKR- one for the future, not scoring to many at present. Bury to Brighton £100+k.

    Is McGhees confidence waning?

That is probably very true. But I have spent my life being a bit of an optimist and things for me aint turned out to bad.

    Is McGhees confidence waning?

Except that with the Dodd and Turienzo situation known months back it was obvious, to most supporters that more experience was needed, even on loan, to get us in a better position up the table...

    Is McGhees confidence waning?

One match report this morning finished............. "As Brightons's youngsters lost confidence, Coventry's experienced players took over. "We've got to persevere with what we've got"said manager Mark McGhee "And I don't know whether that will be enough."" The disappointing thing is that at...

    Life On Mars

Yeh, it was himself upstairs when he met his mum. He was in bed with the mumps. When he returned later the family had done a bunk because they owed rent but he found a pic of himself, as a kid, in a cop uniform. Absolutely f*****g brilliant prog.

    Stockholm

Hi Jimmy, also have a weekend in Stockholm in March. Have been recommended the Ice Bar in Nordic Light Hotel. Apparently very popular so may need to book on internet. Absolutely everything is made of ice including glasses you drink from. So cold, though, that you are only allowed 30 minutes in...

What realistically is now our catchment area?

We seem to be told everyone west of Arundel now supports Pompey, and the chavs of Crawley support Palarse ( a 19 year old bloke I know, born and bred in Portslade, goes to work in Brighton wearing their gear). Now I hear the headmistress of Wivelsfield School, just a couple of miles north of...

    yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeessssssssssssssssss

One thing always consoles me re:- Palace. At least we live in one of the best cities in UK, by the sea,for 52 weeks a year, and not a run down Borough which is the arsehole of London. (Don't laugh they actually asked the Queen to make them a city also. Just imagine!!!) Also in a couple of years...
