I just found myself trying to work out how the groundsmen got the stripes on the pitch so perfect. Also what a lovely colour the grass is. That's not a good thing, right?
I would always stick to the motorways & pay the tolls. We go Pompey Caen on the ferry. Only problems are getting around Bordeaux which can be a nightmare and the most Southern run into Spain sometimes turns into a car park as it can get stuffed with lorries.
I thought it was a great event. Crowd numbers are difficult to judge but I thought it was a pretty good turnout. Charlie was on form & Gus & the players were loving it. Found myself getting a bit emotional - must be my age.
Pleased for him. First to admit I've had / have my doubts about Barnes. Misses a lot but gets in the right places to get the chances. Makes Wood look very average.
