Unfortunately a few of my mates are Palace and are rubbing it in a bit. They reckon Clyne is off to either Arsenal, Liverpool or Ajax but Ambrose wants to stay put.
Clyne's supposed to be one of the best young defenders in the country apparently, he's another one from their academy.
They've...
It's exactly what I'd do. Most people in football think you're skint, so they're less likely to ask for stupid wages. Their chairmen are multi-billionaires, so they can't be skint can they?
Why would you want to come out and announce that you're suddenly rich?
It's obvious he's lying in this...
Forest fans reckon that he's been offered £9k and he was impressed by the ambition of the club.
Not sure what to make of that. Is there something going on that we can't see??
They're the same person. They've got the guy who sold Churchill insurance for a few billion on board as well. Seems that they've got a fair bit of money.
Earnshaw is still a very good player, he's only 30. Played very well in the playoffs, and could partner Murray. Just checked, he's got 36...
Would love to say Palace but with Earnshaw and Murray up front I think they'll do alright.
I'd go for Barnsley, Doncaster and Coventry (they face administration too)
The players will know how much it means to both sets of fans. I'd be surprised if Palace aren't up for it given that Freedman is their manager, but we'll be there in numbers to hopefully make the difference!
Can't wait for both games
While that guy is a bit of a twat, they don't want to move to a ground with an athletics track. They're demolishing the existing stadium, and their new stadium will not have an athletics track. The athletics track will be in a new building over a mile away with a swimming pool and some other...
That's all true, but...
1. Fulham have most of that and better
2. Academies take a LONG time to start up, and we'll be competing with some very established ones
2. They're a massive club at this moment in time
3. They could offer Gus much more money
If Fulham really were trying to get him to...
Didn't he turn down the Palace job in the summer? If he turned them down, he won't come out of retirement for us.
I'm quite worried by this. If Fulham REALLY wanted Gus, he'd be off in a heartbeat. By special club, I really don't think Gus only meant Chelsea. Fulham finished 8th in the most...
It's true that I don't share as much of the hostility between us and Palace as as most Brighton fans do.
We HAVE been on an uneven playing surface for years. Now we are on an even playing surface, but they are experienced pro and we're the up-and-coming amateur.
I've been told that Dougie...
We really have to be careful because we don't want to end up with egg on our faces. Palace, as much as we hate them, haven't been in League One for ages (as they are so fond of saying). We've been promoted and our ground is definitely better, but we're still "the new kid" compared to most of the...
Yeah, he also said that Murray wasn't on his radar!
Apparently they're trying to play it sly, mates tell me that there are definitely some bids in. Hopefully they all break their legs!
This is just not true. A lot of my friends are Palace fans, and they have a wage cap too. Their highest earner gets £12k per week, and Murray isn't their highest earner.
It just makes us look stupid when people guess facts.
