    No American pale ales

The fact that they're the biggest brewer in Sussex, with their beers available in most pubs in the county, would suggest otherwise.

Moron thrown out of North Stand

I learnt last night, courtesy of the people behind me, that Ankergren is actually Argentinian, and we hate Palace because they wouldn't let us ground share at Selhurst.

    Team for Gillingham

Is that due to lack of ability or lack of games, though? Or a combination of the two? Given that Poke seems to be viewed by Poyet as a last resort, would it not be better to give our "back up" keeper some game time?

Had time to reflect on today's game

Is that the "outrageous dive" where one of your players clearly ran into his back?

Had time to reflect on today's game

Purely on the basis of the Football League Show highlights, Doncaster looked like a team of meatheads intent on clattering as many Brighton players as possible. If Sharp's out for any length of time then they're doomed, as they didn't seem to have anything else going for them at all.

    Lords female streaker

Dunno but there was a streaker when I was there for the England-India test in 1996.

Next test match - England win a BANKER and will go number 1 in test rankings

The way Harbajhan has been bowling I'd rather he was playing!

Firefox has improved a lot over the last couple of releases, a lot of reviews and benchmarks have Firefox 5 at least comparable to Chrome in speed.

O/T Mac instead of Windows PC

My point was that you can buy an equivalent spec PC far cheaper than a bottom of the range iMac, which has a 21" display not 27". I've had a look and there are various 22"-24" IPS monitors on the market for between £200 and £500. Given that without the monitor, a PC comes in around £600...

O/T Mac instead of Windows PC

Yep, I'm using GNOME 3. It's not the finished article by any means, and takes some getting used to but on the whole I think it's pretty good. I haven't used Unity, none of the 11.04 live CDs I've got came with it (all use GNOME 2.32 for some reason) and can't be doing with installing it from...

O/T Mac instead of Windows PC

The LG Flatron E2260V-PN. 22", backlit LED, 1920 x 1080, i.e. equivalent to the bottom end iMac. Yours for £130 inc. VAT from Novatech.

O/T Mac instead of Windows PC

To be fair it doesn't, I forgot to factor that in. You'd need to add around £130 for an equivalent backlit LCD monitor, so you'd end up saving around £470.

O/T Mac instead of Windows PC

A Core i5 processor is a Core i5 processor whether it's in a PC or a Mac. As for being similarly priced, you can buy a PC (with no OS pre-installed) with the same spec as a bottom-end iMac for around £600 less than the iMac would set you back. Install Fedora 15 on it and you can happily...

    David Goodwillie?

There are, of course, exceptions to every rule but David Goodwillie is not one of them.

    David Goodwillie?

We really shouldn't be looking at anyone who's plying their trade in Scottish football, regardless of how many goals they've scored. I could probably bang in 20 a season if I was playing the likes of Hamilton, St. Johnstone and St. Mirren week in week out.

Is the ticket office email working anymore?

I emailed the ticket office the other week and got a response within a couple of hours.

Scally and Gillingham in fishy business shocker

I'm sure we could accommodate them at very "reasonable" terms.

    Help with internet Ping

It really depends on where you're trying to PING it from. If you live next door to, and have a direct connection to the destination then you've got a problem. If you're in Brazil then you haven't.
