For those that have wondered where Clackmannanshire is .... the Wee County can be spotted between Fife, Stirlingshire and Perthshire . "Look aboot ye"... "It's bigger than you think" (er no it isn't Mr Council-slogan-inventor!)
I'll take Clackmannanshire... well at least Clackmannnanshire North West... before those tramps from Sauchie and Tullibody (South and East splitters) try to muscle in on my manor! ... Indeed many months hence M'Lord Bracknell  bequithed to me the Wee County.. so ... claimed! ;)
I think this is a runner for the Albas, especially for those lightweight splitters who pulled out of the Albabus at the last minute, missed the league game and made Chris drive on his birthday.:yahoo:
Kuipers - 6 - Took 35 mins to realise he wasn't gonna get the ball into the mix kicking against a 40mph gale. Saves made up for it.
Whing - 6 - Was at fault for the corner that led to the goal. Could've provided the outlet for Kuipers to pass to on the right but not in the Adams book of...
I was really embarrassed in the first half yesterday. I was next to 2 stewards who were pissing themselves every time Kuipers hoofed the ball skywards and into the stand about 25 yards out. Tactics anyone?
The real football @ Hartlepool started after Jobbie Savage went off and allowed us to have a shape rather than the 2, 1, 2, 1, 1, 2, 1 formation we seem to adopt when this lemon is on the park. I was pleased with the effort in the second half and we deserved a point.... but we didn't put he ball...
After Kuipers finally realised he was allowed to throw the ball out to someone or pass it short rather than hoofing it up straight into a 40/50 mph gale, we actually played some football. Shame it took until 10 mins before half time.
The real football started after Jobbie Savage went off and...
We are their bogey team, so every chance of a win for us. :albion2:
2-1 to the Albion and the BHAlbas will be there. BHAFC99 driving from Edinburgh and the Forth Valley Albas (not the splitters) from ... er... Forth Valley. :clap2:
FDM must be pissed off with all the pundits and commentators mispronouncing his name. Sky Sports News; Five live etc etc...
But I suppose the people that know are the ones that matter.
FDM - You are a legend.
We were stung in the collapse of Seguro holidays the day before XL went tits up. I went to book another holiday at Barrhead Travel the morning after XL went and I was told the they were not selling XL packages a full 10days before it ceased trading. But people were still buying XL on line just...
FFS .. I was a few years (5) below him at Lewes Priory too. I inherited his Geography text books...
I have always kept a soft spot for the Lambrettas - from my time a teenager in the Lewes Rebel Army in 70/80's. Lewes Priory's finest. In fact they are amongst my top 25 most played songs on my...
And then to Lewes Priory... As I recall Piers P-M, Richard Lurcott and Justin Cumberledge were all young Tories...Didn't sit well with the Lewes Rebel Army I can tell you! :bla::bla: :ban:
Oops .... I'm out of practice...
I only love the Albion.
I have an affection for my old home team town - Lewes -
and for East Stirlingshire FC - BHAlba's unofficial twinned supporters...
There are a few teams whose results I look out for ...
Morecambe (Lancs Gull watches them)
Alloa...
