    Clubbing In Worthing

    Clubbing In Worthing

The police reckon that the Liquid Lounge is the source of all the anti-social behaviour on a Friday and Saturday night and want to revoke its licence. Their was a bit of a fuss about six weeks ago when the Council narrowly voted for it to continue for a short period of time while they get their...

Most Underrated Films Of All Time

Restless Natives - the one where two Scottish lads dress up as a clown and a wolf man and then go and rob tourist buses in the Highlands. Good score by Big Country too The Usual Suspects (is that underrated enough?)

Behave yourself in Liquid Lounge. The police want to shut it down because of all the high jinks that goes on there

Most Overrated Films Of All Time

Hear hear -it's CRAP I would also like to nominate The Green Mile as the biggest load of tosh I have ever seen. I was pissing myself laughing at its god awful cheesiness. Earlier films that got good write ups but were awful included The Abyss (the abysmal more like) and Outbreak. Utter wank

    James Bond

You are joking, right? It was completely laughable - especially the bit where Jaws falls in love and drifts off into space with his girlfriend. It was so cheesy that it could have been marketed as Stilton

What is the worst Country you have visited

Take my advice - go to Krakow and Zakopane. The first is a wonderful mediaeval city that amazingly was spared the ravages of World War 2 and the second is a ski resort in the Tartra mountains. Very beautiful - you won't be disappointed

    The Power of Nightmares

Anyone else watch this? Makes you think that perhaps the Islamic fundamentalists and the religious right in the USA are singing from the same sheet! Very interesting programme - made sense out of some very complaex issues

Grounds you wish you'd been to

Always wanted to go to Charlton when they had that unfeasibly large terrace. Never made it though and still haven't even in its current guise

What is the Worst bird you have shagged?

After a night out at work years ago I ended up with the fattest bird in the department. She was at least 20 stone. Still can't quite work out how it happened 11 years later but it was quite a shock in the morning! Seeing her at work everyday for months afterwards wasn't easy either...

What is the worst Country you have visited

I went to Kauai (one of the Hawaiian islands) for my honeymoon and it was the most enjoyable places I have ever visited. Looking forward to a 10 year anniversary trip there in a few years time, perhaps to look at the Big Island and especially the volcanoes next time

    Morning Radio - Danny Baker

Danny Baker's show on the old Radio 5 was the best radio ever bar none. He has never quite cut the mustard since, probably because he started to get too big for his boots. Still wish they would team him and Danny Kelly up together again on Five live though. It was far better than any Saturday...

    Favourite league 1 side?

Oldham - used to live nearby during the heady days of the Premiership. They used to have some cracking matches up there in those days. Never forget them playing Newcastle on a Monday night in November and seeing 3500 Newcastle fans descend on the ground wearing only their colours while I was...

Rochdale - for no other reason than they are always stalwarts of this league!

Plymouth - used to live there and went to a lot of games while I was there. Still my favourite away trip

    Digital Cameras

I got a Nikon Coolpix 4800 earlier this year. Now retailing for a bit more than your budget at around £200 but well worth the extra expense. The pictures it takes are excellent and I got 3 editing software programmes with it including Panorama Maker which allows me to take several pictures...

My memories of John Peel - thanks, mate, and RIP

I didn't listen to his radio shows much but I always enjoyed his narrative on shows like 'Life of Grime'. This was a part of his work that was much underrated and will be missed by another huge audience who only knew him in that context. He was always my favourite Top of the Pops presenter -...
