Thank you for your comments.
1. The club is adamant that they won't change their mind. I suspect that they think this is only a small matter being aired by an even smaller group of fans. I am aware of many who have simply paid up under protest as they felt they had no choice.
That is ok if you...
The club won't justify why it has taken £360 for the 700 spaces 'just outside the stadium' whilst making disabled punters use the Sx Uni option.
It appears that 30 mins is the average time for disabled people to walk from the Uni to the ground, as the poster mentions in good weather...
The problem lies with the fact that the club is fully aware of the situation, especially because of the sterling work by Portlock Seagull, Herr Tubthumper & Tiny tears, but states that they have changed their mind, and they won't be changing it back.
In effect, like it or lump it.
From there...
The club in the form of Mr Perry and Mr Brown have said that they did the presentations, and that neither of them said that parking would be free!
First of all, neither P or B did my presentation, it was Hebbard and another chap. Secondly, it was their 'salespeople' that confirmed the parking...
Having been asked to re-assess their policy on charging for disabled parking spaces, I have today (Wednesday) formally been told by the club via email, that they will be charging £180 for all disabled car parking spaces, with no allowances.
I take issue with this, as myself and my carer, were...
In the East stand, the main problem appears to be volume of people wanting your service. At the Doncaster game, I queued for 20 mins before the game and got nowhere near the front, with another 15mins at halftime.
When I did find the small outlet near the South end, all the pies had been sold...
This is hilarious!
Yes the ticket prices are too high, but where were you lot when the disabled supporters suddenly got charged overnight £180 to use the car park.
As fans we get the choice to go to a certain game or not. As disabled supporters we have no choice but to drive otherwise we don't...
I did this for Doncaster and was charged £22 for the upgrade, but I was given a paper ticket with the ST being deactivated.
This whole upgrade policy seems vague to me at best with the club seeming to charge almost what they like at the time.
As pointed out by another poster, the whole issue...
Well done to this poster for coming on here and giving us fans feedback.
Should it not be the job of Azure management, or the person at the club responsible for such matters to put their head above the parapit, rather than a mere employee??
For my part at the Doncaster game I queued in the...
Highly embarrassing, but yes. I think for the most part though it was down to remembering those of us who were not there today to see such a wonderful sight!
Even a moaning old git like myself has to give credit to the club for a pretty good day.
Yes there were some problems/issues, but for a first league game, rather wonderful.
Even the stupid Lino in front of us in the East Stand got a decision right near the end!!
Add to this list Jake caskey & Yaser Kasim. Why some players and not others? Something fishy going on here. Ok Jake, Yaser and Torbjorn it could be argued are not first team squad members but Jamie Smith & Liam Bridcutt?
No doubt this is nothing more than the usual Albion clerical error that...
For fear of repeating myself No, No, No. We don't blame each other!
There is absolutely no need to have a go at each other, where ever you can afford to sit.
The only culprits here who are guilty of anything are the board members who voted this into policy.
There are plenty of good people...
Anybody who has applied to Brighton Council in the past two years, know full well that ontaining a blue badge is far from easy. I already had one from Lewes and upon expiry had to re-apply and jump thru hoops to get another one. As the poster mentions, now with a photo on the actual badge, fraud...
Only when I have emailed the club, have I been told that I have a space. At 17:05pm on Saturday, nothing has arrived in the post.
In hindsight, the club wanted me to book my tickets for today, on the basis of they had told me I had a space.
Sadly, I learnt years ago to believe nothing until...
Why is it we are charged a fiver, yet go to a well known sports store, and they do premiership ones free.
Another reason to get into the promised land I guess!
I believe the additional 30 spaces that Mr Perry announced on Tuesday from out of the blue, are located in the grounds of Sussex University. A quick look around there today concerns me greatly, as these spaces are some way from the ground.
Logically, does it not make more sense to move some...
If there are no kids allowed in the supporters bar, why are they allowed in the 1901 bar. The arguement of there is more room to run around in is crap. If anyone runs around in the 1901 I'm sure a polite steward will ask them not to disturb the 1901 ambience created by not wearing replica kits...
