From the WSU the Leeds fans were very loud when they did sing. For some reason the North Stand can't sing with the same volume. Just cannot understand why 2000 away fans can be so much louder. Any ideas?
Fantastic days, and those were the days when the Albion fans WERE noisy. I think its probably why the atmosphere at the Amex is a tad disapointing to those who were there during those years. Wardy and Mellor et al in full flight was something to behold.
According to Ian Dowie on Talksport the Brighton v Palace rivalry is right up there as one of the fiercest. After playing for Palace against the Albion Palace were showered with coins as they came off. Couldn't here what year that was.
It seems like you don't understand the reason for a training facility. Sit down have a real think about it and I'm sure you will come to the right conclusion. THINK FUTURE.
Is it just me or do BBC SE seem to delight in the Albion having a bad spell. I watched their sports news bulletin tonight and it seems they enjoy reporting that it was another defeat for the Albion. There is a definate bias in favour of the reporting of Charlton and Gillingham. Really wish we...
Looks like the 8th best attendance out of the whole football league this weekend, a big positive, just a pity the atmosphere, was I felt flat from the off yesterday.
Is it my just imagination that there seems to be less and less threads about our beloved Albion and more about travelling, music tastes and diy problems. Not saying its wrong but it just seems to be erring towards the non football stuff more now than before. I can't compare ours to other clubs...
Anybody on here know who owns the strip land that goes down to the bridge car park, is it the Albion? If not why couldn't the Burger van guy operate from behind the station on that side.
I think the north do a great job considering the number of fans which I think is 2.5 k. When I first saw the plans the lack of a largish kop behind our North goal was disappointing. I think if our kop was twice the size approaching the numbers in the old North Stand at The Goldstone it would...
Where on earth were you sitting that you couldn't a thing? that would be impossible. It would be nice to have an acoustics expert's assesment on here because there is something strange happening where some stands can't hear other stands etc. or is it poor design? Any on here?
Great stuff, my first match at the Goldstone with my dad, remember it being very noisy (31,038 ), plus the three mentioned at the top of the thread, the match against Blackpool ,33,431 (77/78). I suppose us fans that were at these matches were so lucky to have been part of the atmosphere. I...
