I'll be there. The Brighton stage should be really good, check out Drookit Dogs and My Federation. Looking forward to Alabama 3, FLC and Gogol Bordello too. It will be interesting to see how well this does given the chequered history of past brighton festivals.
Nice one Phil, couldn't agree more. I can't wait for saturday and finally getting the season underway. And regardless of the result against crewe we will be no worse off than joint third, how about that for a glass half full attiude.
Anyone who saw Harmison bowl at the County Ground recently would have seen a bowler bang in form. He really does seem to have sorted himself out and looks to back to 2005. He was always being asked for interviews by the Shark Bar or whatever it's called and seemed pretty level headed. I'm...
Completely agree. His Dudeness or El Duderino if you are not into that whole brevity thing is one of the finest characters ever to grace a cinema screen in my opinion. But Fargo is quality too, enjoy Easy.
I stand corrected.
However the whole thing was a farce. Even if Harris was being an arse this conflict of interest should have been apparent to those dealing with the negotiations and harris should have been confronted with his choice earlier than he was.
It's a real shame as the whole...
Disagree, I think we'll stay up (although I can see your cause for concern), we just are just unlikely to win the championship. There is a chance of redemption in the Pro 40. I think Smith and Rayner are both capable players and good spin prospects. As the question was theoretical I think that a...
Theoretically yes. I blame SCC admin rather than the player. But it won't happen. I think given that the season is write-off bar the pro 40 there is a lot to be gained from either Rayner or Smith getting some spin time at the wicket.
It was a top evening, excellent company, surprisingly decent food, nice beer, a good match and the big man himself. It couldn't have gone better. I had a marvellous time.
Yes a total diaster in the making, the club I feel is about to implode, I've already decided to bin my season ticket when it turns up so that I can avoid the CRUSHING disappointment that is sure to befall me if I continue in the folly that is supporting Brighton & Hove Albion.
FFS, why have a...
It may be a shithole but I've always found the rotherham fans some of the friendliest that we have met on our travels. I wish them all the best for the future.
Kind of depends on what you are talking about. Work on the site of the stadium itself was never due to start this year, other than perhaps a token ground breaking ceremony. The reason being, that whole load of infrastructure had to be undertaken first. It is the infrastructure work that will be...
Quite. The one thing that is certain is that Falmer WILL be built. Whether it goes entirely according to schedule is another matter. FFS you only have to watch one episode of Grand Designs to see that even small building projects can run over time and budget for whatever reason. After the Hove...
Missing the games today and tomorrow, but I've watched most of the games so far. I think it's a good tournament and much more enttraining than I thought it would be. The Holland Italy games was especially good.
I've enjoyed it so far, all the games have been watchable. germany and portugal look ominously good, croatia and the czechs are flattering to decieve at the moment.
I thought Austria's performance yesterday was great, very much in the vein of a league one side in a cup tie with a premiership...
