[Albion] If Graham Potter is re-appointed...

Apart from the fact that Solly March himself said he found playing under Potter difficult to build any confidence due to all the chopping and changing.

[Albion] If Graham Potter is re-appointed...

TBF the history books will only show the final position but it was anything but an emphatic top half finish. Going into the second half of the last game we could've still finished as low as 14th.

    [Politics] Labour Party meltdown incoming.......

They did when Corbyn was leader, in fact it led to a Hindu boycott of Labour because it was said he was being racist for raising the issue!

[Albion] Who will we sign first?

Isn't the whole point of our model that the manager fits the system we want to play not the other way around?

    [Politics] Labour Party meltdown incoming.......

The man cannot be trusted. We're going to a have a Labour government and that's a good thing but we need to be more critical IMO. Some of what I've read comes across like the people that'd never admit to the Tories doing wrong.

Reappointing Potter would be absolutely Brexit

I was never comfortable that we were trying to poach a newly promoted manager.

[Albion] Who was the better manager for us?

I liked going to the Amex under RDZ, not so much under Potter.

[Albion] Would you boo RDZ if he goes to Chelsea?

I wouldn't boo. He was right that we needed to reinforce in January, I absolutely love our way of doing things but we had the unique circumstances of being in Europe and making an obscene amount of money from Chelsea. We should've backed RDZ and ourselves. Our loss.

Your hatred of RDZ and admiration for Potter is hilarious @Farehamseagull

[News] Should we Bring Back National Service? Sunak says YES.

Conservatives seek to disenfranchise to win and Labour want to expand. Good news for democracy.

[News] Should we Bring Back National Service? Sunak says YES.

This is obviously stupid to most but the danger is such a desperate idiotic campaign will shift the Overton window further rightwards. I was working full time at 18, would I have been exempt? If so how would that be checked? What if that meant I was exempt but I quit or got fired?

    [Football] De Zerbi to Chelsea?

It's likely nonsense but NDA is a non disclosure agreement meaning they would be in trouble for leaking the info.

Imagine if after all the praise we've welcomed for succession planning and superior abilities for spotting talent we end up regressing to a coach who dumped us a few games into a season. Utter embarrassment. Please God, no.

    [Politics] General Election 2024 - 4th July

I agree, however it was always going to be the case that Starmer is likely to be absolutely battered by the tory press based on his history of breaking the pledges he made to become leader. They've barely mentioned it, saving for an election.
