I like it. Not buying one obviously, too expensive, but it’s a nice shirt.
Especially as the only size available 24hrs post-launch will be XXXL

That'd be good for parents with three kids then. They could all wear the same shirt.
The only shirt I have is a British Caledonian retro version so I don't personally have that problem.

I had the away shirt in XL last season and got the XL home shirt today and there is definitely more space in it and could have got away with a large.

I would say there is a big mistake on that size guide, surely that should mean chest size and not pit to pit.
Measure any shirt at the back from arm pit to arm pit, if it’s 46 inches (XL) it will be like a tent
