Can't believe how many strikers W Ham will have now though...

Zamora, Deane, Harewood, Connoly, Nowland and Mellor!!

Not exactly going to be first choice is he!?

Yes he is. Brian Deane is the only striker who walks into that side. Connolly is a stroppy, moody player and Harewood always was overrated. Deane and Zamora will score for fun.

Defoe future in doubt

Spurs to sign Robinson
Premiership ins and outs
West Ham will make a statement on Monday amid speculation that Jermain Defoe is set to join Tottenham.
It has been reported that Defoe could be on his way to White Hart Lane with Bobby Zamora heading in the opposite direction.

Should Spurs land Defoe, it will cap a good afternoon's business for acting manager David Pleat on the final day of the transfer window

And all this post Bobbys interview in The Argus the other week of how good Spurs are.

I personally think that West Ham are a bigger club than Spurs anyway. Spurs have always belived their own hype!

Teamtalk say it's 7 Million & Zamora!!

I would hope its actually West Ham BUYING Zamora for cash + Defoe.

That way we would get some cash from the sell on clause Dick insisted on.

Don't think so - we get a %age of any profit Spurs make. There will be a value attributed to Zamora in this deal - I can't see for one minute that it would be above £1.5m.

What was the sell on clause with Zamora?
If West Ham valued Defoe at 10million and the deal was Zamora and 7 million, would we be entitled to any of the 3million difference as part of any sell on clause?

Yeah.

But - can you see Zamora being worth more today than he was 6 months or so ago?!?

I'm of the understanding that we had a sell on clause.

Bozza says that is only if Spurs make a profit on Zamora though.

If Spurs are buying Defoe for 7 Million and Bobby then we're possibly entitled to something.

It depends on whether Bozza is right though. I can't see Bobby being valued over 1.5m. In which case we would recieve nothing.

If Bozza isn't right then we'll get a % of however much they have valued Bobby.

Not that much but probably enough to help us keep Benjamin a bit longer or bring in a new player.

Not exactly been given a run, yet he will be deemed a failure. from what I've seen he has so far given a better account of himself than Postiga if you take the price tags in to account.

Good luck Bobby, take West Ham up and stuff Spurs next season.

he has been given a chance he hasnt taken it,

every thought the reason pleat never played him much after a while was because he is not good enough?-
