Where would Rolls Royce be without cashed up footballers.

I reckon the various princes and hangers on of corrupt, brutal regimes around the world would keep them afloat for a while to be fair.

I would recon that worldwide these would be small in number compared to every member of every squad in all the top divisions in the world.

Given that Alan Sugar got absolutely slaughtered by the press for showing off his new plane on Twitter yesterday - will they do the same to Wilf ? Huge crash in economy, big spike in unemployment and he's showing off his brand new rolls royce - to go with his other one

To be fair, I think it's the sellers that are showing off the sale.

Heard from a hairdresser in Bromley that he’s definitely leaving and the fee is agreed with player and club at £10mil... Told Weststander this yesterday he’ll confirm source is very good...

Nice try, but can't see you getting any bites today..
Not in their nature to show up until things start picking up.

Enjoy it while it lasts...

Parish’s Botox consultant confirmed that this is true.

The £10m will finance the first ten rows of seats in the largest stand in global sporting history. Any money left will be spent on top pest control experts, to finally try to find the rat infestation at their Beckenham training portakabins.

He is looking very ordinary and uninterested at the moment, looking extremely unlikely to get his move and Palace getting anywhere near their valuation of him. So buy him some scissors

Isn’t it the same every summer and early autumn - a protracted sulk as a silly price tag is put on his head, no takers and then a huge pay rise?

Football writers and pundits on eg the excellent R5 Monday Night Football Club, have often said that his mistake was signing that last very long contract. He got rich, but it sealed his fate, trapped, a career without a hope of ever playing in Europe or winning anything. So naive or badly advised.

Whilst this is undeniably true, the sacking of his previous agent, seemed to show some level of intent.

However, the super-agent has certainly got his work cut out for himself, trying to convince any club to part with > £50m for him

6 points gap, really 5 points with our better goal difference...*whistles*

We couldn’t, could we...?

Decided against posting the same thing, doubt we will retain enough focus to make that many points on them.
Will be happy if we can make some ground on them, though and start building towards next season.

Doesn’t Parish hold out for £90m or something along those lines? Knowing full well that imprisons (on big pay) his main game-changer.

Suspect he might start to lower that expectation, this season.
No Wan Bissaka money to balance the books this year, and Roy will be looking for some incoming transfers this season.

I can but dream - especially given our next 2 fixtures.

Trending on Twitter at the moment: it seems on the basis of (1) how shit he was today and (2) how many of his fans think he should be sold in the summer.

Still. Not all bad, Palace fans. Benteke wants to stay! [tweet]1279079297186136065[/tweet]

So, how does that work?

We're 6 points behind.
If we get 5 points more than them, we're a point behind, but with a better GD. We don't go above them.

6 points to catch them, only then does the GD come into play.
