Well, i'm stretching the meaning of concept a tickle.
Corgan rejected the notion it was a concept album, but the different albums represent Day and Night with a through line or "concept" of the human condition of sorrow ( or mortal sorrow to quote Corgan). So, not a story or progressive concept but more a diverse range of music styles representing an emotional state, during the day time and during the night. That's my take anyway.
Great album, whatever.

I bought the CD for my son
For many years this was the only track I liked. I loved it. It is brilliant.
Now I like most of the album.
This is class however.

I doubt that many on here will have heard this one. The original double LP came with an illustrated book.

Oh yes, had a copy of this for a while. Much preferred Mr Greenslade's noodlings on things like Beside Manners Are Extra, especially with the Roger Dean sleeve art

Screamadelica for me. Not only a concept Album but an album that describes Brighton in the early 90s.

I am soooo pleased nobody has suggested Tales of Topographic Oceans.
I remember Peel playing it and lifting the needle after 5 minutes, apologizing for attempting to play shite.
Yes? No.
No, but in my youth I did have Olias of Sunhillow which was the debut solo album by Jon Anderson, the lead singer of Yes. It was also featured on John Peel's radio show and may have even lasted longer than 5 minutes on his turntable before he lifted the needle.

It tells the story of four tribes of an alien race and their journey to a new planet after their home is threatened by a volcanic eruption. Olias, a magician, builds a spacecraft named the Moorglade Mover and is helped by fellow magicians Ranyart and Qoquaq to gather and carry the population to their new home.

I'm sure you were very interested to learn that.

I also had Crime of the Century, Supertramp's breakthrough album, which could be classed as a concept album.

Sing About Me, I’m Dying Of Thirst also linking back to a song from his previous album is a great touch too.

So. Just a few from me:

Celebrating it's 20th Anniversary this year, more on their technical death metal end but an absolute classic from Gojira on the topic of environmental issues.

And this song from the album is always one of my highlights of their live show

Night Demon's latest album also a personal favourite. A more niche NWOBHM inspired band, but one I absolutely adore

Other Amon Amarth albums may be the ones others gravitate to for their biggest hits (understandably so), but Jomsviking is my personal favourite of their back catalogue.

And last but not least, a band for whom every album is basically a concept album about the history of war, Sabaton. Personal favourite album is the first of their two WW1 themed records, The Great War.
