Winchester and Chandlers Ford. Currently conservative with a 3,000 majority.

This time, who knows? I'm hoping for Lib Dem gain.

East Worthing and Shoreham about as safe a Tory seat as possible. Think I read had been Tory since 1842!

Labour way back in third last time but very much hoping we can get second and trim Timbo's majority

Looking at the west/mid sussex seats its amazing how poorly Labour have done - surely no self respecting 'progressive' can vote lib dem any more can they?

Buckingham - Speaker

John Bercow is my MP. Since no mainstream parties are allowed to put in a candidate against the Speaker (I think he will be up against UKIP and Monster Raving Loony), my confident prediction is that he will keep his seat
I've always wondered this - do you notice any difference in how good a constituency MP you have while he's serving as Speaker compared to just having a 'normal' MP?

In Portslade which is part of Hove actually. Not sure how this will go. The greens are pretty much despised in this neck of the woods so Its a straight fight between Labour and the Tories. Peter Kyle has done well to get his name out there for the last 3 years whereas I couldn't tell you the name of te Tory candidate.

Canterbury: safe CON hold, LAB second. I expect the Greens to increase their vote significantly (starting from a low base), but not enough to worry the bigger parties.

Think you've got more chance of man growing wings and learning to fly unaided

Winchester has been Lib Dem in the past, and Chandlers Ford used to be part of the Eastleigh Constituency, which is Lib Dem and has been for a while. I was surprised, though, that it was not a bigger majority last time round.

Green HOLD

Someone just tell me which way I need to vote to assist the downfall of the Greens

Regrets, I've had a few, but then again too few to mention. But I voted for them last time..when I was in some fifth dimension

Another one for Brighton Pavilion, I actually think that Caroline Lucas may extend her majority despite the incompetence of the local council, but keep around 30% of the vote.

UKIP will take share from Labour and Tory and they will finish 2nd & 3rd with UKIP 4th

Agree with my fellow Lewesians that Norman Baker will probably hold the seat for the Lib Dems, but I'd imagine the majority will be cut so deeply we're considered a marginal seat next time round.

Wolverhampton North East; Labour HOLD with a slightly increased majority.

One of the easier predictions this election.

Rock solid Tory seat where I am. No chance of anyone else getting in.

As mentioned above: Labour.

None of this resigned fatalism here in Harveys Towers about the Greens: I'll be voting Labour and hoping against hope that they have a chance here. Single issue pressure groups and political parties are not the same thing, IMHO.
