Just seen an Albion debit from my account :clap2:

12 quid, though, so must be one of the last. I put my application in the collection bins at the Swansea game, so presume I'm one of the last. I dunno. Are the 12 quid tickets obscured views or summat?

No idea but I put mine through the letter box Monday night. 4 STH and ours are all £12.

It will still be an issue, do not think we get even 1000 for Orient these days.

They still have a stand missing.

1000 in their east stand i think i read, your right it will be an issue. But i think most people will easily get tickets.

You,ve just said you work EVERY Saturday....so why do you need a ticket for the West Ham game...?....or is it , that this particular game means you,ll be bothered to take time off, but at the Withdean....well , not really worth it , it seems to me......Yes, I,m with Coach 100% on this one.

Read the whole thread. I've got this particular Saturday off through no particular engineering of my own - that's just the way cookie crumbles sometimes. I go to EVERY midweek home game at the Withdean and other Saturdays that come up.

I guess I'm just pretty damn lucky this time round :drink:

As for you....... The word PLUM springs to mind.

Think of me on 6th Jan when you are furiously tapping 316 into your remote to get the result on Ceefax

There needs to be some serious re-thinking done by the Albion here. A number of STH,s are seriously considering there financial committment to the Albion. I,ve always been of the opinion that a "supporter" is someone who regularly goes to watch the Albion home and/or away. Someone who likes the Albion, but for one reason or another (work commitments, expense, etc etc.) doesn,t watch them on a regular basis , is an "admirer".( much the same as all the kids who locally run around in Chelsea , Man Utd and Arsenal shirts , but never actually see them play). For what it,s worth, I think very highly of all these "admirers". god knows it was wonderful to see 25,000 of them at Cardiff.I,m sure that if we get Falmer, and maybe one day get into the Premiership, many of these "admirers" will convert to "supporters"..(probably work commitments, expense etc etc will not be such an obstacle to overcome then...). Until then, I firmly belive, on a moral basis, that "supporters" are way ahead of "admirers" in the queue for tickets to West Ham. I don,t entirely blame the Albion for the present situation.....but coming on this board and abusing the understable frustrations of "supporters" by "admirers" is ....................very disappointing.

So basically what your saying is all those people who can't afford to go to all 46 league plus cup games a season, through work/family commmitments aren't supporters of the club.

All those people on here who haven't got WHU tickets, when did you apply? Also do you live in Brighton?
Beacuse I live in Brighton and dropped my applications down the club shop on the Monday night before the Swansea game. I have got my tickets.
Surely everybody must have know this game would have been over subscribed? I realised this and took my application down to the ticket office by hand on the Monday night.
Now if you live quite a way from Brighton I can understand it may be a bit more difficult to get your application in, but if you live in the Brighton and Hove area it shouldn't have been that hard.
The system maybe unfair, but since the Albion have started the postal application system I have only once lost out on an away application whether it be a big game or a run of the mill game, because I have always got my application early.Tthe only time I didn't get my application in early was when I missed out.
But reading other posts the idea about using the club's database more accurately seems to be the fairest system of all.

Well f*** off then bhafc4eva. We don't want your sort as season ticket holders, I'd rather there were empty seats at Withdean instead of moaning wankers like you.

Brilliant for a club that's skint

I'm not going to read all of this thread, but here's my view.

Priority 1. Season ticket holders.
Priority 2. Non season ticket holders with most stubs for all games at Withdean for current season. The more stubs, the higher your priority.
Priority 3. AMS with ticket stubs for away games.
Then all others.

My reasoning.

Well, the club survives on revenue. The main portion of this is ticket sales.

Therefore, season ticket sales keep the club going, and these fans are the ones who are of most value to the club, and as such should be rewarded.

Next, occasional fans who provide revenue to the club by attending Withdean games. Again, it's revenue to the club and not to Brentford, Bouremouth or whoever.

Next fans who only go to away games, followed by anyone else.

It's a simple business case, for those of you who want to only go to away games, you're not contributing towards the costs of running the club in the current season. What's happened in the last 10 years is irrelevant. The club can only look at the current season.

I have no axe to grind as I haven't applied but the bad feeling created by this game and the Tottenham one makes me think that it would be in the clubs interest to get a computer programme written that can eradicate some of the genuine and fair gripes from some season ticket holders. How hard would it be to have a programme that gleans all the ticket info over the last couple of years and once received all applications are entered on the computer which then sorts it into a table of points allocated ( season ticket holders, regular purchasers, away ticket purchasers etc). Those with the most points get the tickets with a max of two per person.

If you go regularly and are a season ticket holder and want to take mates, wifes, kids who don't normally go you will slide down the list as these people will dilute your points by having none or not very many points. Those that go regularly will get 1st dibs, the rest will have to take their chances on any tickets left. Just because you are a season ticket holder shouldn't mean that you can get 6 tix, 5 of which are for occasional fans.

Think you possibly need to re-read what I said....."REGULARLY go to watch the Albion at home and/OR away" in my opinion are supporters. Didn,t say anything about attending all 46 games plus cup games...still , hey-ho, thankyou for your offensive remarks.
