Coach, Beachy.. I expect Hove Born and Bred has a few spares that he will sell at a mark-up. He might even do you a package deal with a FBS ticket.

When someone like Beach Hut who is a season ticket holder as well as a regular away supporter doesn't get a ticket it shows how wrong the system is.
It's time that Martin Perry f***ed off as he is a f***ing waste of space

Spot on, get the lapdog out now!

How about the other side of the coin? Why shouldn't someone, who works his arse off every Saturday to feed his wife and kids, get priority for this game as he happens to have a Saturday off work? Besides all you whinging STH get to go every week.

It also appears if you paid by credit card, you were dealt with first.

Why do you say that? That means that the ticket office staff would have to open every application and then put the cheques ect to one side?

This is my last comment on the matter (yes, you can sigh and make snide comments, you non STH or those of you who got tickets)
Why piss off 100 STH? Why not give them all tickets before you moved onto the others? Anyone further down the list wouldn't have been almost 100 percent expecting a ticket. 100 x season ticket holders = a big potential revenue loss when renewals come up.

I would have thought it made financial sense, even if you ignore the loyal fans being kicked in the arse sentiment.

Here endeth Coach's words on the matter.

Byeeee.

Utterly ridiculous. Boo fricking hoo you didn't get a ticket. Some of us don't get to see ANY games due to work commitments. Enjoy Port Vale and Yeovil won't you

Clearly a lot of wind ups here but this is to the genuine moaners. Its strange how all the you say that season ticket holders dont get any priority when you get around two and a half THOUSAND tickets just for you. You pay your money to guarantee you a seat at every HOME game, you're lucky you get any priority for away games at all! I wonder if we had got Chelsea at home how many of you would be saying 'well you should have got a season ticket then!'. I was a season ticket holder when we played WHU in the league, our initial application was unsuccessful but we accepted that fact, then the ticket office called and offered us some returns so you never know!

I agree with most of the ideas for the away loyalty scheme but there would be a problem at some games at this level that you dont get a ticket stub when you pay on the gate.

In an ideal world something along these lines should be done. Have said before that I am not a fan of some of the things the FA have done with Englandfans, but their system that 70% of the tickets go to those with the most points and the other 30% are balloted to everyone else that applies is a pretty fair way of doing things.

I can't understand why the club keeps setting itself up for this sort of shit every time there is a big game.

It's not a personal thing - I didn't get a Spurs ticket, but with a lot of hassle (and no whining) I got one on the day of the game, and there's a fair chance I won't get one here despite busting my sphincter all over the country to watch our heroes - I just can't understand why the club doesn't sort this out.

We have a database, let's use it. Give everyone a point everytime they buy an away ticket or send in a stub, don't judge people on whether they made it to one JPT game at Millwall. Split this priority group with STH's and surely it's all a lot simpler?

Blimey, I might suggest this on Ask The Club once all the fuss has calmed down.

Ben, I do agree with you.

There is no reason why a home game cannot be worth 1 point (so season ticket holders start on 23) and you get 2 points per away ticket you buy.

However we have been here before and the club do very little to rectify it, so it becomes a case of being organised and making sure you apply early, not ideal and does not reward loyalty, but sadly that is how the club chose to run it.

I think MB and UB make excellent points about this away scheme - as an equitable way of dealing with this, it can't be faulted (although some gormless turds will always just moan if they miss out, that will always be the case). My only reservation about it would be whether the increased admin costs would be worth it for, what, 100-200 people? How many serious away travellers do we have? As has been said, there's no record of the fact that I went to Doncaster and paid on the day, for example.

I question whether there would be much in the way of increased admin costs, they take your details when you purchase a ticket now and enter it into the system, it would be a case of using this data.

Coach, Beach Hut -

Have you confirmed with the ticket office that you don't have tickets and did you both apply at the Swansea game?
