Seems that results are pretty low on our priority list at the moment. Some promising youth players are coming through. Just need our overseas player to perform and Jordan to show a bit of effort.

We don't. Sussex are cash strapped and are developing the youngsters. It's good to see their progress. 4 day results may be some time off. But they'll get there.

Dont believe cash strapped bit. We have 4 overseas players a couple would think are very expensive. There was opportunity to play Weise in both forms and save on Heads wages air fare and accommodation

As an aside, after leaving Headingley on Saturday, I had a bit of time to kill before my train so found myself sitting on a bench on Briggate with a bottle of lager. A classy one like San Miguel, because that's the way I roll.

After about ten minutes a man walked up to me with a plastic carrier bag, and offered me "tobacco" and "viagra", which appeared to be tablets in unmarked boxes. He assured me this would be "just for fun".

I decided it was probably time to go back to the station at that point.
