Fair play to Aaron Thomason. Some, including myself, wrote him off not so long ago as “can’t bat, can’t bowl”.
He is still a limited player but you can see he gives everything and is now an important member of the team.
I can see him grinding out some more important runs this season.

.............. and there goes Travis Head!

It’s not just THAT he gets out, it is HOW he gets out.
A wicket waiting to happen from ball one.
He was playing test cricket a few months ago.
Right now, I’d be tempted to play Clark ahead of him.

Up till now I was prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt - anyone can fail with the bat sometimes. But today was just irresponsible, after his young teammates had battled so hard with great discipline.

No wonder Australia have dropped him.

Errmm ....................

Good rearguard action, especially by young Orr. Out a little while ago for 67 - pretty good debut fr the young man. Now - what's it to be? Dogged resistance or roll over and have our tummy tickled?
Starting to look like a silly question!

Head and VZ are simply not pulling their weight. They have contributed nothing in this game.

Yes, they've been poor. Hats ai to Ben Brown and young Atkins - 9 and a bit overs to go and they are still digging in with men all round the bat - keep going lads. Don't be druv!

200 up and Jamie Atkins has hit a couple of fours - steady lad!

Some strong individual performances in this game, and we fought to the end.
Yorkshire were always going to be too strong.
Look at their batters compared to our bowlers.
