Well overdue taking that banner photo down at the back of the West StandThis but louder
I’ll respectably agree to disagree. He gave us his best playing years. He’s not a born and bred Albion fan. We couldn’t offer him guaranteed work when Potter left so he followed him. It’s totally understandable and shouldn’t detract from the positives he brought us, even if the theatrics of it all have been blown out of all proportion. Almost everyone here would’ve done what he did, so I see no real difference. What he did was IMO worse than what Tossard did. Yet I don't see anyone moaning about Trossard getting booed on Saturday.
Trossard was honest and up front that he wanted to go on to bigger and better things. Granted he could have handled it better but he got his way in the end.
Bruno made his bed with his once a seagull quote then jumped out of said bed as soon a bigger pay cheque was on the table. I can't blame the guy for doing that we all have to look out for number one but I certainly won't be welcoming the bloke back with open arms.
Bruno wasn't guaranteed a job under the next manager and was offered security somewhere else. Nobody should blame him for that. What he did was IMO worse than what Tossard did. Yet I don't see anyone moaning about Trossard getting booed on Saturday.

You know the "Once a seagull..." quote meant that he wasn't tied to the club – and ONLY the club – for life, right? What he did was IMO worse than what Tossard did. Yet I don't see anyone moaning about Trossard getting booed on Saturday.

What error did he make?Clap Bruno - now it’s died down he made an error and is paying for it. What he did as a player and coach far outweighs the mistake of following Potter.

The story in ANY other walk of life is: man is offered a job promotion. Man takes job promotion. You even write that you don't blame him – and yet it's worse than a player with an attitude downing tools and throwing them (along with his toys) out of the pram to get a move! With an agent who puts out 'threats' about sticking him on the bench...
Oh cobblers. We could put a decent team out with the amount of ex players we've got working at the club in some capacity.Bruno wasn't guaranteed a job under the next manager and was offered security somewhere else. Nobody should blame him for that.

Good luck to Bruno.
Did so much for the club and cider community.
Still one of my favourite ever players
No, but my issue is really with the other side of it and the people who seem obsessed about how APOPLECTIC with RAGE that they are about him having the temerity to leave for a better job.Man takes job promotion - does everyone in his old office need to still bow down at his feet and thank him for the work he did years in the past? And continue to have the office canteen in his name?
Yes Bruno was a fantastic leader. But at the end of the day, for him it was just a job and for the fans he should be just an ex-player.
First of all, well done with your patronising first sentenceFirstly well done for actually reading my post. The others clearly didn't.
You've basically echoed what I said. Trossard was up front with his intentions.
Bruno basically told us he loved us then ran off with our better looking but very slutty sister the following day. Unsurprisingly she did the dirty on him and now he's ended up with an Essex girl who will also probably f*** him over. I certainly won't be shedding any tears if and when that happens.
I don’t so it’ll be BOOOOOOOO from me, but I doubt he’ll know it’s directed at him with Potter there as wellFans are not loyal to players, clubs are not loyal to players, so why expect any loyalty back?
That’s football, some fans still rage that Lawrenson forgets he played for us when he’s interviewed. Comparing football to the real world is just daftNo, but my issue is really with the other side of it and the people who seem obsessed about how APOPLECTIC with RAGE that they are about him having the temerity to leave for a better job.
BravoI'd have guessed he was a wine drinker. What did he do for the cider community out of interest?
