What would football fans do without these questions prefaced by a long string of IFs? Reminds me of my programming days and constructing endless nested conditional statements. This example is a classic as it’s not even our (the fans’) decision to make in any case. You'd have to add another IF statement to precede the others: 'IF you had the power to accept or reject the decision AND IF…' etc. Just add beer and a bunch of argumentative football fans, and that’s your evening neatly taken care of.
Then, else?

If, and it's a huge "if", RDZ leaves we need to appoint the person that TB and PBOBE already have on their desk jotters, he (or she) is the right person for the job!

Nested IFs are a sign of poor code design, you should aim to inverse your logic and end up with simpler stand alone IF statements.

For instance, in the current case under discussion:

Rather than IF RDZ leaves followed by IF Smuggles is sacked followed by IF Smuggles is not offered the England job and so on, begin with IF Smuggles THEN RETURN "Hell no". Much simpler, see?

A lot of "ifs", but if RDZ leaves us this summer, Eddie Howe is shown the door at Newcastle and not get the England job. Would you take Edward John Frank Howe as our manager?
If he was appointed as our manager, we would have to take him.
As an aside, could do worse.

No thank you. He will get the England job anyway.

He basically relegated a Bournemouth team that had a squad that should never have gone down. No chance Id want him.

and people going on about his success at Bournemouth, did they not have to pay a fine of £7.6m for breaking FFP when they were promoted to the PL.

Shown to be lacking in the way he responded to their recent injury problems.
