Blimey, I'm in bits, I think this is worse than 2005!

Presume we will see the Scorecard at some point but as ever many thanks.

Next Test Venue is?

The Australian players are on the field shaking hands - that was so close

When the chips are down, it always seems to be Botham and Stokes who come up with the goods and it was Beefy's two wickets and Stokes' wonder catch that saw them home

Miller is walking off with his arm around Botham - they're going to relive that moment tonight

What a match that was

I'm off to cook tea now (Aggers never has to cook or hang doors)

There'll be a full scorecard later

And the next test is Edgbaston (with Old Trafford and Oval to follow)

Absolute Scenes, good news is we usually win in Brummie Land, no doubt post mortem will start tomorrow, not happy with our 2nd Innings batting performance myself.

Yeah, Hammond intimated as much in his post-match conference. Mentioning no names but a blond haired fop from Leicestershire and a Brylcreemed playboy from Middlesex need to knuckle down a bit. He also wasn't happy with the bowling in the second innings, that was a steep 4th innings target and Australia got very near. There may be changes for Edgbaston - Barnes is available again, of course.

Strangely, the losing captain was more positive. He praised his team for coming close, he said they were shocked by the ferocity of Larwood in the first innings but played him better in the second.

Despite centuries from Gower, Bradman and Smith (nearly two!), Larwood was named man of the match.

Many thanks yet again for the commentary, must admit towards the end I went out into the Garden a la Edgbaston 2005 to beat the shit out of some weeds as I was convinced we would bugger it up yet again!

That is two great Ashes Tests on the bounce, I suppose law of averages says the next one won't be but I hope not.

Full Scorecard available at some point?

Next Test starting?

Has the Bearded Wonder Sorted out the Full Scorecard as yet?

Are we having the same Umpires throughout and if not will we see Dickie Bird at any point, seeing as neutral umpires didn't stand in the past?

Sorry, I completely forgot about the scorecard, I'll sort it today.

The next test is at Edgbaston and it starts next Tuesday.

Aussies have named an unchanged team.

England, despite winning, have some selection issues - namely that Barnes is available again

Unless Barnes has a tremendous record at Edgbaston why change a Winning Team?

Oh and thanks for setting date for third Test, I will have run out of Reports to write by then so can give it my full attention!

3rd Test Starts on Tuesday, I can't see any compelling reason to change the Team other than Len Hutton must be hammering on the door for Cook's place as opener, at least one big score from the Chef is required at Edgbaston?

Calling Gwylan. Do we know if the England Selectors have made any decisions as yet?

Same team as before - the weather forecast is looking good although there may be a bit of cloud cover at the start

Thanks for that, if Cook has two more modest scores what are your thoughts about Len Hutton?

The pre-war version of course prior to his horrible war time injury.

Or Sutcliffe - the guy with the Ashes average of 67?
