At 2.35 pm monday morning. John Anthony Portsmouth Football Club formerly known as John Anthony Westwood, realises what a big mistake he made. Depression can strike at any time. Don't be a victim. Support someone else today!

Whats the latest on Portsmouth? Saw a load of stuff on Twitter suggesting they might go under, and the Trust will have burnt through all the money they raised?

The PST has spent £500k on ground improvements to increase capacity to c20k next season. Seems to me they're banking on a £1M windfall from Liverpool if the mickey mousers win the Premier League due to a clause in a transfer contract several years ago.

Seems reasonable. Those 20k seats are going to be in much demand when Dagenham, Fleetwood & Morecambe come to town.

That said, anything that gives hope to all the hundreds of thousands of Great Fans who currently can't get tickets because of the regular sell-outs at Fratton Park, should be praised of course.

Wait. Hold on just a SECOND. There must be some sort of...mistake? A couple of digits missed off that figure, surely? Was the ground capacity reduced for safety reasons that night & 50,000 Greatest Fans In The World locked out?

Surely The Greatest can't have been down to a mere EIGHT THOUSAND. I refuse to believe it.

"There were 8,000 there and it was the real hardcore – and they weren’t giving up."

There you have it, from the biggest #**** of them all. Obviously TGFITW knew that this match called for something special, and deliberately restricted entry to the real hardcore. My ears hurt even thinking now about that Wall of Noise.

Delighted now that TGFITWwill DEFINITELY be watching league football next year following 2 wins on the spin, and there is NO CHANCE they will go down.

Nope, no chance. Now that they are safe, we must be but days away from hearing news of what multi-million pound bids they plan to make for next season's title winning squad.

I imagine they'll only be looking at players in the £25k- £35k a week range these days though, such as Jamie O'Hara. Times are still tight, let us not forget, and they wouldn't want to pay SILLY money.

I have no idea, as YT is barred at work.

I'm going to wing it and say YES, though.
