Fair enough Deportivo, you have a point there, this thread must not be sidetracked by another post unless it only relates to Cummings......nothing else must be allowed.

As an ex forces man I appreciate your deference to rules.......so as long as you are a shining example of compliance i will kneel at your feet in contrition.

Oh.

As you were me old matelot splice the mainbrace!

The clue is in the title of the thread. Not difficult.
BTW, the navy and it’s serviceman have a history of not playing by the rules. I know this as it’s cost me enough in fines and various punishments.

Which fits your political beliefs but unfortunately it's completely incorrect. You are allowing your political beliefs to cloud your judgement.

The police were very interested, interested enough to push through an inquiry quickly at a very senior level.

Their conclusion is clear. In their belief he broke the law and their gave us the procedure they would have enacted if he had been stopped. That procedure being to inform him he must turn round and go home (*).

They can't do that unless he has broken a law.

You many need to read that again, feel free to use diagrams (crayons permitted) to understand a complex scenario such as going somewhere you shouldn't and the Police asking you to go back to where you came from. Imagine yourself in a women's toilet - that may help.

However, their guidelines (and it differs from force to force) dictate that they won't be retrospectively be acting upon the offence (yes it was one) because they haven't in other cases. In that respect Cummings may in find it refreshing to be dealt with the same as the "little" people for a change.

(*) I've stopped using the word home in inverted commas since another Cummings lie has exposed the truth. It isn't a "spare cottage" on his fathers farm because Cummings is listed on the Land Registry as a joint owner. By definition he drove to his second home, a home which has received 235,000 euros in EU subsidies.

For the record when will Cummings be charged? Until then I am not interested.
The matters is closed.

What are you thinking of Mouldy? Do explain...

I am pleased to see you are back on track with your spelling and vocabulary....

What a cant.

Sorry spelt that wrong.

Why do you feel the need to post under Lever? Why not just post under your main account?

Very sad, isn't it?

I always like to reply out of courtesy, but this is nonsense.

As a political message at best this is bordering on communism, and you maybe a communist at heart, and to be honest I supported much of their analysis on the workings of the EU, however communism as an ideology is an irrelevance in this country. Sorry to break that to you.

Eh?

I am a democratic socialist with green instincts who isn't racist. What I said is 100% consistent with that.

'sorry to break that to you'

Ironically, cunning fergus is actually a real shining example of compliance (as well as hypocrisy) :lolol:

He and Farage cast from the same mold.

Its a simple model, rich people persuading poorer people is act against their own freedoms and interests and use racism and xenophobia in a toffy accent as the lever

Don't worry - your spelling accords with your logic - aberrant!
I was going to say at least your family loves you...but no doubt your potty mind would subvert the meaning of even that!
By the way - is your real name Mouldy Boots?

Well what about this as a strategy....

Ensure *no trade deal* with the EU, collect the proceeds...

.... head for the hills, and let some other SAP take over the mess - who'll have to make the best of a bad lot.... ( which at that point is surely swift EFTA membership and a Norway-like relationship with and outside the EU ).

You need to learn the difference between misquoting and misrepresenting. Think about what you post .... priceless.

It certainly is ... Brexit won't happen and we will have a hung parliament :lolol: :bigwave:

You're wasting your time talking to someone like him Footy Genius. He's probably the sort of person who would follow the Labour led, undemocratic loon Welsh Government's advice of 'stay local' (whatever the hell that means) when we both know that 60 mile round trips and keeping alert are the clear and simple way to defeating the invisible enemy, as we both continue to back Boris to get Covid-19 done. I don't know why people are moaning about unemployment or the economy either - Sainsbury's in Hastings now has 3 - yes 3 - people in the shop at the petrol forecourt to ensure that only 2 people are allowed in at any one time. There were plenty of gloves in a box on the ground by pump 11, made out the same sort of material that you'd find a baguette at the bakery at Asda in too, so I don't know why people are moaning about a lack of PPE in The NHS as well.

As well as keeping alert, we need to keep posting links to Guido Fawkes as well to show these doomsayers that good news is aplenty if we avoid the BBC and The Guardian. I know you will, but keep alert Footy Genius.

I don't like Boris, and I can't stand Dominic. He should be fired. But...

Why should I be embarrassed or ashamed? They're self serving *****, but I didn't vote for them. What they do is not a reflection on me. And I do have sympathy with some who did vote for them, on the basis that the choice wasn't great.

What is it specifically that you're criticising over the last few days? DC should have gone, but will it hurt the PM to have kept him on?

Although I didn’t intend to post again I shall respond to your queries for clarification.

I didn’t vote for them either - my point was that I am surprised if people can’t see that the behaviour of the PM and his senior team has been very poor. I don’t think I implied it is a reflection on you or any others. Regarding the DC incident specifically I think the fact that several Cabinet members, led by the PM, are purporting to believe the eyesight nonsense and expecting the population to believe it is farcical. I thought the PM was very weak in his responses to the Liaison Committee and in subsequent press conferences and Hancock/Gove etc similarly stuck in the mire of protecting DC and the Gov’t’s reputation during their handling of the pandemic.

I tried to couch my comments in an atmosphere of acceptance of differing views. I still stand by a personal belief though that the performance of the Gov’t has been an embarrassment and suspect many others feel the same. It does look like DC will survive but I think it’s purely because BJ is completely clueless and would be lost without him. That is not a good place to be in my view.

Just when you think the world can't get any more stupid, I just walked past a house that has had a Cummings flag made and are now proudly flying it on their flagpole.

Are some people never going to grasp what it means to be a rule maker at the heart of government with great political power but no accountability?

It’s not really political point scoring at all as there have been as many angry Tory and Brexit voting individuals as there have been those from the left.

The only ones really with a political agenda are those that treat government as their football team and they can’t say or will hear a bad word about them.

Last time I looked, Kinnock Jnr is not a minister in government, nor is he involved in any rule or policy making. So his inclusion is just pure whataboutery as it offers no defence of someone in power making policy and rules.

This really isn’t that difficult to comprehend. I think you must be batting no.4 for the NSC Cummings Cricket XI.
Far from it.
FWIW I think he should have put his hands up and said “This is the position I was in and a had to make a decision and I’m sorry if people think differently “

I’m also more of a cavalier hitter coming in at 6.

The reason I said 'it's always there in black and white' was so that you had the opportunity to quote something I had said in an earlier post (preferably unedited this time).

So, instead you simply make up something that you think you may have remembered me saying at sometime. I see this may take a long while to explain.

'As an ardent unionist I would never ever accept a border in the Irish Sea' - you may be able to see an issue going forward with us each posting what we think we remember the other saying

Are you really denying you predicted the UK wouldn't leave the EU and that there would be a hung parliament at the last GE Pinocchio?

Then more misrepresentation ... your integrity/honesty levels are somewhere between Boris and the Orange one across the pond :D

Throw in the soft of softest Norwy style brexit , there's a few more gems out there but who cares
