But this team should be good enough to be pushing for promotion. I don't think it needs new players.

Is it? For me its fair to Inconsistent for whatever reason.

It maybe because of the age of the side?

It maybe because they are not good enough to perform everyweek.

In my view a winger and a cm is needed, either short term to cover the departing Hammond and the players who are out at the moment.

I quite agree, at the end of the season he has to go. Micky Adams would be my ideal choice, because I want Championship football before Falmer. At this rate, we're going to be in League Two with Wendy in charge.

I fail to see the logic you've used there Kev. Micky Adams put us on our way towards the Championship ONCE with a team he'd spent 2 and a half years building. And it wasn't good enough to stay there.

100% in, he is building a team that had the heart ripped out of it at Xmas and he is now starting again. Last night was rubbish but we still won and personally i don't care if we win playing like that and end up in the play offs.
People calling for his head are a joke what exactly do they want, stop looking at the past we are not in the same position as when we first came to the Withdean when the fans were optimistic and we had a large amount of money for a team in league 2 or what ever is was called back then

I didn't EXPECT us to be top 6 this season, but I did EXPECT us to make significant progress on last season (which was dire). Therefore, up until christmas I was very happy. Now, it looks to me like we're no different to where we were 12 months ago, and if that remains the case he HAS to go. There's too many 'ifs' at this stage, but I'd say the next three home games are crucial to him. Dick Knight showed with McGhee that he will sack the manager when the crowd turn, and from what I heard/saw tonight, that was a crowd on the turn.

We are making significant progress on last year in my view. Surely mid-table (with up to three games in hand on the teams around us) is a lot better than the 19th place we finished last year. Or is that not enough.

I still think we will finish around 10th, which will be a good season, and then push on next year. If we are still lower mid table this time next year then maybe there is a case but at the moment sacking Wilkins would be a very bad move in my view.

I imagine it is the same people calling for Wilkins sacking who said sacking McGhee would improve us whoever we brought in. Well they have learnt a lot since then

in without doubt

i dont understand what this is about the football! we have played some decent football at times this season but you do need to mix it up now and again.the last few performances havent been great but the amount of distruption and turmoil we have had over the last few months which wasn't down to wendy has really disrupted things and if only we good string a run of 3 or 4 wins again we would be back pushing on the top 10 again.

Falmer, soon...
Which players have gone backwards in terms of performance/ability in comparison to last year? Certainly fewer than those that have come on.

Still more time needed IMO

Lynch, Cox, Elphick not as good as they were and Whing & Richards were championship players when they arrived but are not now.

Who have improved under the present management other than Fraser.
