Zamora would be a perfect fit with the system we play, and he is/was my all time favourite brighton player so would be over the moon if he was to come back, but i cant see it happening.

I love the Bobby Z rumours.

No matter how far fetched they make the hairs stand up on the back of my neck.

When the balls in the goal it's not Shearer or Cole it's Zamora.
When the balls hits the net it's a pretty good bet it's Zamora.

Thinking about Zamora songs ringing around the amex makes the hairs on my neck stand up too... Brrrrrr

It is clear from Gus's comments about Hull's new striker that we can't compete with clubs paying the £2.5 million transfers fees AND the big wages thereafter. However, a loan deal if structured right is conceivable, and the Wayne Bridge / Vicente signings shows big names will come to the Albion.

For all the JCLs who never got to see the great man play in the Withdean years this signing would really help to strengthen the connections between fans new and old. The thought of 30,000 fans singing his name at The Amex is incredible.

If Bloom knew such a deal would cost the club £2 million for one season I'd wonder if he'd take it?

A week or so ago didn't the people ITK say hopefully we will fail with the two strikers we were trying to buy? Apparently they knew the name of the loan deal we have as back up and said it would guarantee promotion etc. I am sure Bozza was one of them.

It was Lukaku according to them... Sure it was never a done deal anyway as W Brom were in for him.

Zamora is on about £90k a week at QPR and has four more years on his contract.

Let's move on shall we?

Do you REALLY think the deal he's on now is potentially going to cost QPR £18,720,000? I very much doubt it.

Can you imagine the noise of '...it's not Shearer or Cole, it's Zamora...' bellowed by 20,000+ of us at the Amex. I don't think Bobby could ask for much a better experience than that!!
