Would he take a drop in wages?
Would he really come here when he's 6 months through a 2.5 year deal?

I think the key to it being a loan. That said I don't believe it's going to happen.

If Cardiff can get Bellamy, we can get Bobby. His England ambitions are all but over now.

A cult hero at West Ham, but a proper legend down here - Bobby returning and taking us up would be a right fairytale story.

Cult hero at West Ham? Are you sure? They spent most of his tenure there slating him.

I appreciate that most of us would like to see BZ back in our stripes, the question is, does Gus?

Zamora is 31, I think a 4 year deal to see him though to the end of his carer might be very tempting to him. Going onto surpass Tommy Cook's club record of 114 goals for the club...Zamora is currently on 76.

It is a valid question.

I would expect the answer to be yes. Bobby is a skillful footballer, and provides all the things Gus says he needs. Scores goals, holds the ball up well, brings players in. Can help out at the back from set-pieces. Likes to close defenders down to break-up play. Perfect.

In addition, I can only think that Tony Bloom, just like every other Brighton fan, dreams of the second coming of Bobby Z. I am not suggesting he would seek to over-rule anything that Gus did player/team wise. He can however "make his wishes known" and provide the money to make it happen.

Didn't he sign a five year deal at qparsehole in February?

I have never before posted any transfer talk, but this one, if true, would be a good one, but it is a bit stretched.......

Bobby Zamora to BHA on a season long loan is a done deal if...........................

Berbatov can agree personal terms with QPR..................................

and RVP puts pen to paper at Old Trafford!

Source? Someone who knows someone who deals with BHA legal paperwork.

As I said, a very big long shot..

So you saw this on transfer rumours? Or the person that told you did?

This is correct. West Ham fans didn't rate him at all - thought he was useless, and definitely not Premier League quality. The stupid twunts even adapted our song about him - 'When the ball hits row Z, it's Zamora...'. A big shame for Bobby as he's such a West Ham fan.

Personally, I would be delirious if he came back. We would surely be challenging for promotion. It's obvious it's not really working for him at QPR, so not totally implausible.

I love the Bobby Z rumours.

No matter how far fetched they make the hairs stand up on the back of my neck.

When the balls in the goal it's not Shearer or Cole it's Zamora.
When the balls hits the net it's a pretty good bet it's Zamora.

A week or so ago didn't the people ITK say hopefully we will fail with the two strikers we were trying to buy? Apparently they knew the name of the loan deal we have as back up and said it would guarantee promotion etc. I am sure Bozza was one of them.
