What would stop Zamora coming back?
Would he be happy to drop down a division?
Does his current manager hold him high up?
Would he take a drop in wages?

Would he really come here when he's 6 months through a 2.5 year deal?

Simples. Charge everybody a £1 premium (to be dropped in a bucket on the way in!) and that's £20,000 per home game and the club can make up the rest (i.e. away games). If we get promotion then the season ticket holders get some sort of bonus from the club out of the £90 million Premiership money. :)

That's what I was told Yesterday. That was from somebody who works with a QPR Season Ticket Holder.

He left Fulham for a "Final" big pay day. So taking a £10k pay cut would have been out of the question. Most media at the time were reporting the deal to be worth 90k a week. I don't think it is far off that

Could Gus' ego cope with Zamora being the main man at the club? The first thing he did when he arrived was ship out the big personalities at the club - Forster, Kupiers, Virgo and Cox as well as most of the ex youth team players

He likes his own men ( not a critism btw) and Zamora is a huge name already in Brighton

I have no idea. We do know that Tal Ben Haim was on £35K per week - with image rights taking it up to £55K per week. TAL BEN HAIM!

Without wishing to break the data protection act, through my job, I have seen some footballers salaries, and some of them really do make me think "What him? That much?"

If Gus has a problem with big personalities then how the hell is he ever going to be successful as a manager in the Prem? Even Sir Alex ended up blowing Rooney, ditto Mancini with Tevez. Managers will put up with shit if those players are expensive / important enough.

I imagine a realistic current wage for Zamora is around 40-50K.
Either way, not for a single moment can I imagine QPR offering Zamora to BHA with 75% wage paid 6 months after they've got hold of him.
I wish it could happen but unless QPR get a better striker in very soon, there's no light at the end of the tunnel.

FRUIT OF THE BLOOM
FAR FAR FAR FAR more chance of us going for Bothroyd on loan from QPR..than Bobby Z

At least there is a slim chance we maybe able to get him on board salary wise.....certainly way more than Zamora.

The infamous Bennetts Field Bunny (who I am starting to think is no more than another attention seeker goon) has just tweeted...

Brighton factually.....
Would love this rumour to turn into reality.....

However he can still do a very good job for a Premiership team so in the cold light of day that is the reason why this will not occur.
