That's not fair on Gruda, he was constantly finding space and asking for the ball but never got it . . . Veltman just wouldn't pass to him.

Veltman and Dunk were so negative today, they have to carry some of the can, constantly turning back . . . .

On the one occaision Gruda did get a pass, he steamed past three players and got sythed down . . . . Free kick was taken 10 yards behind and passsed backwards. Defeatest negative tripe . . . .no movement, way too slow and utterly predictble.
Point of order there he got fouled due to his poor control of the ball. He had lost it after the second player but in stretching got caught.

1. If Minteh was considerably late he deserves dropping.
2. The club shouldn’t have made it public after that shitshow. Looks petty and deflective.
The club DIDN'T make it public, did they? They refused to comment, no?

Naylor, yesterday’s man, so will release whatever to try to keep himself relevant.
Either way who cares? We were shit.
I care. Enciso has just left the club unhappy. Nobody seems to know what is going on with Ferguson and now another of our youngsters has been dropped for poor discipline. Stuff like that is important and impacts our performances. Feels like since RDZ lost interest there’s a real change in the dressing room harmony. Possibly coupled with Lallana and Gross leaving too.
No smoke without fire imho so it is important.

No, Enciso left because he wasn’t starting. He wasn’t starting because he wasn’t turning in good enough performances.
Ferguson is injured.
What else do you have as fact?
Possibly? Maybe? Feels like nothing. If you can’t provide a fact then stop, you’re part of the problem not the solution.
The smoke is up your own arse.

I can understand Georginio being used as a sub again, but the Minteh one is bizarre as he played so well as a starter last week. 6 days rest since his 75 mins at Old Trafford and another 7 days until our next game, so can't say it's necessary rotation, can we?
I can’t understand Rutter on the bench he has scored 4 goals in three games playing centrally he should be starting where he is most effective.

How is player meant to perform with bit parts here and there? Same with Fergie. We all know how good he is when trusted that goes for both players.

Pedro needs a rest . . . He's playing as if he's a guaranteed starter.
Point of order there he got fouled due to his poor control of the ball. He had lost it after the second player but in stretching got caught.
At least he made an attempt to attack, something positive, potentially creative . . . It had intent

the only other player who did that today was Mitoma . . . . yet everyone cracks one out if he gets a corner.

disjointed is the best word I can think of

thats not my usual Anglo Saxon. 🙄

He’s to close the their own age, it’s never going to work with egos. Players listen to experienced coaches players may have problems outside of football yet they aren’t likely to share with a 31 year old. Bizarre appointment.

With the minteh situation go back to the pre Everton press conference. The press were lauding mintehs performance. And fab seemed awkward at that moment and started talking about having to train well and indicated march and gruda were training better. So it seems minteh hasnt been training well in fabs eyes.

But Naylor did and not a chance he’s just releasing something like that on heresy.
There's a difference between hearsay (and even heresy) and having something verified by someone not employed by the club.

Yep - so wide of the mark. I'm not sure he's the right man to drag the team out of the relegation zone.

He spent most of the first half covering Veltman who had a stinker. When he did get the ball facing their goal it was either in our half or just over the half way line. What the hell is he supposed to do with that?!

The only time he got space, he beat 3 players and won a free kick. The problem though, as noted above, is that this run started on the half way line. He’s in a no win situation. We need to get the ball out to our wingers quicker and higher up the pitch. This has been a problem all season on both sides of the pitch, and blaming Gruda rather than the manager is a cheap way out.
He received it in space more than once and on one occasion had clear field and turned back, he was poor, completely accept your point about receiving it early and Veltman, but let’s not mask a poor performance.

As per my post I think he’s a good player with lots of promise, needs to get stronger and improve his weaker foot.

I would argue the team selection was wrong (though now understand the circumstances), and also agree about the speed of our build-up, but that has also been the case for 45 mins in most games. We never seem to complete a full 90.

Re Gruda...I think anyone would have struggled with Veltman behind them. Geez...he was terrible. He tries to make up for his immobility by play acting all the time. Allowed himself to be bustled over and then tried to be clever, hoping no one would notice. Can't wait to get Ferdi back at LB and replace JV at RB. Even Gross was better in that position.

None of know the details , was he 5 mins late and it was a punishment or 30 mins late and not ready, If the former then is he that insecure that he has to 'make a point' , if he were in control he doesn't have to make an example, he could fine him later.
Nah, late is late, whether it’s 5 mins or 30 mins. If the meet time is 1pm and players are let off for 5 mins, then the de-facto arrival time becomes 1-05pm.

Nothing insecure about dropping a player. It’s exactly what you’d have expected an all-time great manager like sir Alex or Clough to have done.

Utter tosh …our defence has looked much better since Veltman has been back …grief seems like you have an agenda here
