Thanks GG.

Everything always seems to go wrong though, I can't think of one good thing that has happened to me in the past couple of months, you think they're good but you take it the wrong way and seem to mess it all up again, and then they hate you, it's just a constant thing that happens to me, if it's not that then it's my health and if it's not that then it's something else. People always say that things will get better and I really hope they do, but they always seem to get a hell of alot worse from my point of view.

Stop waiting for good things to happen to you. Do you want your life to happen to you? Make something happen. Also stop basing your life on other people and your feelings towards them. Do something for yourself.

In the last 4 months I have been dumped by my bird, lost a placement that looked like it might head to a job in an area I wanted through no fault of my own and recieved a tax bill for £1400 because the tax office f***ed up my tax.

Then I read Kestrels post about his Mum dying and his missus having an affair and kicking him out of the house where he lives with their 3 kids and you realise that there is a lot worse shit happening to others.

Doesn't make you feel any better and dodn't get me wrong it feels awful but if people in Kestrels situation can get through it then you can kind of get through anything.

Everything always seems to go wrong for me, everything, and when you think hey I might be alright here you get smashed right back down again :(. In the last 6 months I've lost what I thought was the love of my life, I've lost my best mate as he ran off with her, I've lost so much self esteem and generally just feel like shite all the time, especially now. I just want to be happy, but I guess I'm never gonna be after what's happened in my life. Example, someone says they want you, then they don't, then they do, then you kiss them, then they don't, you tell them how you feel, then they hate you, why oh why do I bother, just feel like giving up to be honest.

I know exactly what you mean and kind of went through the same thing.

I got sacked back in october and on my 2 year aniversary on November 20th,2006 I walked in my house to find my girlfreind with a very worried face on her..."We need to talk" and bang two years..flowers in hand.........Gone....No real reason just she didnt think it was gonna last or work anymore..She was my world and then the person/future you had has been blown away!

She has a little lad who's 5 and I felt like he was my son.......God its harder..and when i picked my stuff up he was in a right state crying and saying I love you Dad...it is getting easier day by day..sort of..bit like a roller-coaster.

But I feel that self pity is the most dibilitating trait we have and feeling down and sad wont bring my lad or my bird back soive got to be positive(sink or swim) im going to travel round Oz and maybe settle over there...not about running away from probs bu gives me something to work and aim for and make a positive out of the horibble situation I find myself in.

Keep your chin up mate...try your best to be positive and try to be active and get a plan together of how to go forward and Im sure you will feel better.

I personally have turned to god with my probs but its not for every1.

Take care and remember you aint alone mate.

Lots of good advice on here mate, take it, you're 16, you can do anything you want to.

And now that you are single, go and do it, you'll be 20 before you know it, and then it will be too late.

Two bits of advice from me;

1. Always wear a johnny.
2. Change your signature, that is so depressing.

Yo Russ man. Didn't you meet your bird on the internet?

Did your mate steal her from you having met her through you or is there a deeper story here?

Do tell

It's not the same girl, it was someone who I went out with before hand before going out with J*****, who I know wanted me back whilst I was with her, but I said no then we had a big argument about it (November 2005), and didn't speak for a year until I was rushed into hospital last month, then after talking it just felt so right over again saying she wants me, then she doesn't as she doesn't know what she wants, then she does and moves on to me, then she doesn't again. I guess I been suckered right back in again, but atleast this one's prettier in my opinion.

welcome to the world of women!

by the way she is f***ing fit!

Look on the bright side, you're rid of a dirty slag and a back stabbing "mate". Gotta be a good thing surely.

Never keep running back to the same girl or letting her back into your life.Bad mistake which will f*** up your emotions.Your best bit is to move on.He can't be a best mate if he did that to you trust me

really!

One of our friends met a girl, she dumped him at the altar.......after 5 years of moping arround going from relationship to whorehouse he met up with his ex again and they realised they were meant for eachother......got married in a quiet affair and have been married for 16 years, have 4 lovelly kids and he is a happy as a pig in mud.

The world is not all nasty stories you know.

I think a messy break-up at the age of around 16-17 can be a vital rite of passage for any bloke.

It always seems a lot worse and things hurt a lot more when you've just come out of a big relationship. When I split up with my gf of 2 years I made the mistake of going out straight away trying to replace her and all I got was knock backs, unfortunately desperation attracts desperation so all I met was girls who were on the rebound too or still in love with their wonderful ex who beats them up and shit like that. It was another year and a half til I met my present girlfriend but in the meantime, I learned just to go out have a good time with my friends and be a player. You'll meet someone else again in time, chin up dude.
