It always seems a lot worse and things hurt a lot more when you've just come out of a big relationship. When I split up with my gf of 2 years I made the mistake of going out straight away trying to replace her and all I got was knock backs, unfortunately desperation attracts desperation so all I met was girls who were on the rebound too or still in love with their wonderful ex who beats them up and shit like that. It was another year and a half til I met my present girlfriend but in the meantime, I learned just to go out have a good time with my friends and be a player. You'll meet someone else again in time, chin up dude.

Originally back in August 2005 we did via MSN then, got to know each other better and hey presto things clicked. Everything was great for a year, then bang something happened got no idea what, but then she's coming out with 'oh I think we should take a break' and 'I can't handle the distance any longer', all them shite excuses which you believe then find out to be absolute bollocks. To be honest, I'm not 100% sure how they met but both of them can burn in hell

All I meant was, at age 16 or 18, you can do pretty much whatever you want to do, no-one expects anything form you, if you want to go backpacking around Australia, work on a Cruise Ship or as a holiday rep, climb Everest, you know, you can.

Once you hit 20, you have different ideas on life, your needs change, and to act on those needs you can't just piss about doing nothing.

20 was a slightly arbitary age, but no, your life won't be over, but you're going to find it harder to do exaclty what you want to do, you may already have commitments, already have a job/career/relationships, all things that will influence your life.

Whereas, at age 16, for most people, very little is going on that influences your next step, your decisions about what you are going to do today, or tomorrow.

I know what I mean, I hope you do.
