Golf - for definite. Not just because it's boring, but because it's played by a lot of twats (#NotAllGolfers I know, but a lot of smarmy assholes)

Anything that gives "points" based on a judges assessment rather than deciding a winner based on something objective. So no figure skating, gymnastics, etc. They aren't sports.

Basketball - discriminates against us short people. And those f***ing squeaky shoes. And the ridiculous scores that make any particular basket pretty much meaningless.
What about swapping the athletes between horse racing and basketball? That would up the entertainment value of both sports and solve the discrimination problems.

That’s a fair point, although to be fair they just bend the rules when it suits them to win regardless so it’s a mute point!
I think this is just (sand) papering over the cracks.

I was late to the party with baseball and NFL, but now I love them. You DO need to invest a bit of time to understand the laws and nuances otherwise its a borefest, but once you've taken the time, hugely entertaining, even as a neutral. And great for a bet. Watching live baseball in the USA remains one of my favourite sporting experiences.

Darts leaves me cold though, that can get in the sea (thank god its finally over). And horseracing. And basketball. And rugby league.

Yeah true, not those bit. But I stand by my thought that criticising the way others run their sport when our chosen on is run in a total chess pit is a bit rich.
But the draft system is just a small element. Surely the richest clubs can still pay their players the most. Some of the player contracts in the states are mind boggling. Also, aren't the franchises just money making machines for their owners because they have salary caps.

That UFC nonsense where it seems ok to knock someone down, jump on them while they are senseless and continue to batter them around the head.
Really? Boxing way more dangerous. A few whacks to the head in MMA and it gets stopped. By contrast boxers remain their on their feet taking cumulative head punches.

From an academic perspective, football would be a fascinating one to see what sport stepped in as the new “global game”. Most of the others are far more parochial in their geographic spread.

Most Yank sports I think.

I’ve been to see NFL, Baseball and Basketball live and it’s a f***ing noisy shambles.

Everything at super high volume. Messages from sponsors at top volume, pitch and court side entertainment.

Claxons and PA’s blaring out. DA DA DA DA DA DAAAAA OKAY FOLKS ARE YOU READY BLAH BLAH BLAH

There’s waffle before during and after. Fireworks going off, mascots, competitions, competition winners, special guests, special guests singing the national anthem, foundation kids, pre match displays, player profiles, veteran speeches. Followed by tedious, nonsensical sports.

Shut up! Is there sport being played down there at all??!!

Oh how I long for the miserable simplicity of a chicken pie and a cup of tea in styrofoam at Withdean.

As for MMA, UFC etc? All things men do instead of seeking the therapy they clearly need.

I like MMA. If someone is deemed senseless, then the ref should stop the fight. There's less damage done in MMA than in boxing. In boxing, when someone is knocked out (or close to), they're given 10 seconds to recover so that they can get knocked out again. And again. And again. And there are short rounds so people can get damaged, half recover, and then get damaged again, until they have a serious brain injury. In MMA, the fight is stopped soon after they take the first serious damage.

Your simply pointing out that fighting itself is loaded in favour of people who can wrestle etc. That's the nature of the beast. I imagine you're more used to boxing, and then a bit surprised there's more to all out fighting that fat gloves.
Spot on and clarifies why MMA is far safer than boxing.

Personally I love it as almost human chess where players try to impose their particularly fighting style. I think the issue with wresting in MMA is that it's the least attractive combat style and can look messy unless you have an understanding of freestyle or greco Roman. Thanks to the likes of Joe Rogan I've really got to grips ( pun intended) with how skilful jujitsu is.

Dressage, rugby league,, showjumping.

But rugby league, why bother? Rugby union has so much more about it as a sport.

First I think we need to define sport. For example, does bullfighting qualify? Does recreational hunting qualify? Does Australias international shame qualify:ROFLMAO:
Whether or not breakdancing qualifies as a sport, I am not sure what raygun did qualifies as breakdancing
