Which Palace players would you take?

If we want to be a middle to lower middle of the table team then I would take them all. Personally I would rather stick with what we have got and push on for the playoffs.
We need stats !

Zaha, not worth double figures as said on here though, more like £5 Million at most and Speroni at a push

Tell the Premiership, they weren't aware of this.

Speroni at a push? A club with decent keepers would love to sign Jules, yet alone a club with shit ones!

It is a constant amusement that the Palace goons are forever calling us deluded while telling us stories of how their players are way better than ours.

League. Table.

(It is also worth a wander round the BBS to see how many of them have little quotes deriding us in their signatures. Compare this with the quantity of Palace related signatures on here on here... mmm?)

I thought you were holding out for £7 Million for Zaha, if he was really worth that much wouldnt a Premier League (as thats what its called) club stumped up the cash and bought him already ?

You thought wrong. We turned down £7m from Bolton for Zaha in January. His England u21 start and assist in his first game will add to this value. He gets better every week. He's going to the very top of the game, sadly probably not with us but with United or City :(

The chairmen have said he won't go for less than £10m, and think that we'll get more than that.

Under Your Skin.
We'd be able to spend 1/5 of the Zaha fee on him, I'd imagine.

Yeah, because a fast winger with a poor cross and 7 league goals this season will go for 5 times more than a fast winger with an average cross and 7 league goals this season.

Sounds to me that according to this thread Gus is working absolute wonders with poor to average players then? Or is it that Dougie and CPFC's star talents that are worth tens of millions are massively under performing? Hmmm.

For me I'd take Speroni as 1st choice keeper, Williams, Zaha and Ambrose. Only Speroni would be a regular the others would be good players no doubt but rotated with what we currently have.

Zaha, who is four years younger than Buckley at only 18, is faster than Buckley. He has a decent cross, a decent shot and the best ball control of any player in the league. He is arrogant and loves to showboat, but has the best ball skills in the league. He starts for the England u21's. He has more assists than goals this season. He also has 3 goals in the cup.

Buckley is 22 and a good player, but he doesn't compare in terms of skill or potential.
You bought Buckley for £1m. We REJECTED seven times that amount in January for Wilf.

If Jesus existed, he would indeed be weeping.

palarse wont get anything if he gets a career-ending injury tonight at Coventry!

Gustavo is working wonders with an average squad, yes. Your mid table finish will be solid, and Gus will have his status confirmed as a reasonably good manager.

Dougie is bringing through immensely talented but very young players, and is doing it carefully and properly. This season isn't about promotion, the next couple of years will be and I have no doubt that he'll get us to the top flight. At the moment we're a good side hovering around the playoffs. We have a couple of players that aren't up to scratch (Easter) and some that are comfortably Premiership quality (Zaha, Clyne, Speroni, Jedinak, Parr, Gardner). We have the second best defence in the league, and with a new striker we will be a very good side and could win promotion.
