It wont be long before someone from abroad who has CHOSEN to come and live here or some tosser wracked with colonial guilt comes along to tell you that's exactly what the english did for years.
English, but no guilt for me. Not only did we nick other peoples' countries for years, we were bloody good at it!

Here we go again..."Chosen People" means chosen as God's messengers not the "Master Race". Still, let's not let a bit of theology get in the way of a good binfest...

p.s. how does genocide rate on the racism monitor?

I would have thought that any sane person would agree that murdering people simply because they belong to a certain racial group or hold certain religious or indeed other views is appalling and to be utterly condemned. I certainly do.

I don't recall referring to the Jews as any "master race" but as God's chosen people, and who are referred to in the Torah as such.

So if you didn't mean it like that, what relevance does the fact that the Jews are the chosen people have to the Jewsh State of Israel being a racist state?

Perth, Western Australia
It's very different in Victoria.

Melbourne isn't one big anglo saxon haven. In fact it's probably one of the most multicultural cities in the world.

It has the largest Greek population outside of Athens.

It also is the home to a large asian popualtion mainly from vietnam and china.

And that's jsut the tip of the iceberg when it comes to immigrant populations.

And it's with that in mind it has to be remembered, none of them like cricket.

They are more into football, both AFL and Soccer.

Because cricket is only played by certain commonwelath nations, most of the people who settled here as immigrants dont follow the game at all.

It's as simple as that.
IMHO that's the worse thing about living in Perth, after the cab service, the fact that there's so many Brits here!

Prior to political correctness, the generally considered opinion of most people was that "racism" (a term invented by Leon Trotsky to denounce those who opposed world revolution by the way) meant a belief that one race was superior to another. Now many people from many races have had and still have such beliefs.

However since PC became rampant, it now means that anyone who believes that they belong to a specific racial group and wishes to maintain their identity is "racist". Israel was created as a homeland for the Jewish people, so by the criteria of many so called "anti-racists" it is by definition "racist".

It is not an opinion that is shared by myself as I believe that Israel has a right to exist. I was in fact pointing out the irony that many leftists and so called "anti-racists" label Israel as a racist state simply because it is the homeland of the Jewish people and seeks to preserve Jewish identity.

Others of course label it as such because of the actions of its army in Gaza and against the Palestinians generally.

So in fact the comment about the Chosen People had no relevance to what you've just posted. Israel is racist not because it seeks to provide a Jewish homeland but because it privileges Jews over other citizens and before anyone jumps down my throat for that comment members of my family fought in the Israeli Air Force in 1948.
