Everyone should please steer away from snapper and the like. we catch so much fish round here there really is no need to ship fish half way round the world farmed fish isnt a bad option, especially escollaps. If people only knew the damage the scallopers do to the seas bad!

On my boat we catch crab and lobster and all of it goes into a lorry and off to France, Spain and Portugal. so if you all eat more shellfish the price goes up and i get paid more! try more of whats always been considered the crap fish as well, Gurnard, Mackeral and dabs are 3 fine tasting fish that too often gets thrown away.

Miss Wheelers very much. The food was always brilliant. I take my hat off to you if you were my chef.
What happened to the 2 very nice girls who were maitre d's in the mid 90's?

Can't beat a nice SKATE wing. Grilled.
Scoff one side, flip it over and scoff the other. No fiddly bones. Whats not to like ?

The fact that 80 per cent of a good fish is thrown away!

And I am no veggie, I am often found worm drowning in the English Channel or fly fishing in Arundel, I just cannot justify taking a good animal and throwing most of it in the bin.

Best fish to eat -Bass, but catching a decent size one aint easy, but tastes so much better than the farmed ones in supermarkets.

I voted Haddock as its the default option in the chippy, but when I can get it Dover(Lemon) Sole is the dogs danglers.

Shellfish would be Mussels.

WTF is a squid? Fish, crustasion or what? I'll have some of that with my haddock.:)

I vote mackerel because it's full of flavour and one of the fishiest tasting of fish. Smoked with black pepper and lemon juice - yum!
